(You'll certainly get no more from me!:p)
In hindsight of course I admit I could have probably found out the info myself. I just didn't understand why it was happening like it was.
Once I was pointed in the right direction I was able to therefor look up the information myself.
You say you don't know why posted, the same could be said about your post.

From the Sky contract booklet (page 11)
"If you want to end the contract....you may do so at the end of or after the minimum term by giving at least 31 days notice"
So as I said,Moneyineptitude wrote:I already know what in says in the T&Cs0 -

So as I said,
To be fair to Nux you've misinterpreted what that quoted sentence means.
"If you want to end the contract...you may do so at the end of the minimum term by giving at least 31 days notice."
Thus you can call up 31 days before you 12 months end, and request cancellation. Therefore you can end your contract the very moment you reach 12 months.0 -

Obviously, I'm not about to ring Sky to ask...;)0 -

Obviously, I'm not about to ring Sky to ask...;)Thank you for contacting Sky Help Centre.
I can confirm that your HD contract ends on 01/05/13, therefor the earliest you would be able to apply the 31 days notice to the HD would be 31/03/13 and this will take you through to the end of the contract.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
