returned item to seller through snad-seller wont refund?

Grr im at my wits end here.

I openned snad as item not described (and bad counterfeit) seller replied through snad saying he would refund upon return. Snad told me to post item - I did, special delivery and inputted tracking. The item was received today first thing. I asked the seller when will i get refund as on my case details it says he has 3 days to refund. His reply was - my paypal account has been blocked for 180 days so i cannot access paypal to issue you a refund.

BUT all his listings are still on ebay so how are the winners going to pay if he has no paypal?? Also he said he was annoyed as it was his business but he has a private account. Is he lying?? What happens if the 3 days past and he doesnt refund - will i get an automatic refund from ebay/paypal.

Can you not show ebay proof or delivery (of the return you sent) and tell them he is refusing to refund you, I thought, once you have supplied this that they would automatically refund you.

send ebay a message to say the tracking states delivered and seller is refusing to refund you. You WILL get your refund.

This is not really your concern - they have probably seen what he is doing, particularly with the private/business account, and called time on him. He won't be able to sell with a limited Paypal account, but it'll filter through soon enough. This happened to someone on the community forums - it may not be a performance issue, as it wasn't with him - but Paypal will probably not leave you in the lurch.

As long as the item says delivered then eBay will refund and chase him for it.

Looks like you'll just have to wait the 3 days before you can do anything, but you'll be able to get your refund once that deadline has passed.

I hope so, so you think ebay will refund me automatically??
Guess i`ll wait for day 3 to be over and hopefully the case will change.

I'd just phone Ebay, and tell them the dispute tracking show's you've returned it, and the seller is refusing to refund. They might refund you instantly.

I agree, I've found eBay respond to phone calls much better and quicker than emails.
