Morning!
Well I haven't heard anything on the training/course yet, but everyone is really busy.
I've just been chatting to my best mate and we have agreed to make up stockings for each other this year. So I am starting to look for bargins I can give her. We have set each other a £20 limit so it should be interesting.
I'm really excited I got paid today and I currently have over £1500 in my current account! Ok some of it it marked for my small loan and OD both of which will die tomorrow! But it is lovely to look at my accounts and see that they are all healthy and in credit!
I love being smug over Christmas to, normally I'm done by the 1st December and love watching other people running around trying to finish their shopping! I'm so cruel!
Right aiming for a good day today. There is something very strange going on, I have money, but I don't want to spend any of it! Obviously I am learning!
Take care everyone xCurrent debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Right
Just bitten the bullet and gone to the bank....
AND.................
I've PAID OFF the small loan!!!!:T :j  (and cancelled the OD as the girl on Saturday hadn't)
And I am just sorting out the money transfer for my A and L account which will pay off the OD on that account.
Which means............... I've only ONE left!!!! How exciting is that!
Right the key now is to stick to budget and over pay the loan to get it down quicker!
I had to share as I am so excited!Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Afternoon!
Well I am updated my sig, so it just shows the loan I now have, everything else has been paid, or is waiting for the money to clear.
Although I have just realised something. I am planning to go away on holiday next year and was wondering which savings account to use, when I realised that my A and L account has 6.5 % interest on all amounts in credit while the savings account it came with only has 5%go figure!
So needless to say I will be using my A and L current account as my main holiday savings!
I have a lovely headache again and have just taken some painkillers.Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Congrats on just being down to one debt!
It must be so nice not to be overdrawn! I dread to think how long its been since my account has been in credit!
This time next yeat the OD and ccs will be all gone and a far off memory never ever ever to be repeated!!!
I shall keep my fingers crossed for you on the work front, it would be great if your company paid for some training for you and hopefully give you some study leave tooDebt Free - done

Hopefully. I think I will just need to keep pushing, everyone is really busy at the moment, but once the ball is moving it should be ok.
Thanks I really excited about only having 1 debt. Just need to work hard at over paying it now.Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -

Morning
Well back from the dentist (£15.90!! ) which has really turned into daylight robbery!
My transfer has gone from my Lloyds account, so I just need it to hit my A and L account. I've decided to pay off the OD in 2 lots, I don't want to leave myself short (it's something I'm worried about) so I will try to be really good and leave as much in my current account as I can, so I can finish paying it off in October.
I didn't see the point of going through all this only for it all to go wrong in the first month!
I've got lunch with me so will not be taking any money across to Sainsbury's with me a lunch time, I will just be going for the walk!Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Morning all.
Well the sight test cost me £69.45, which I am rather pleased with as at one point my Bill was sitting somewhere around £122  But I decided against spending money having my lens thinned, I'm so short sighted it's unbelievable! So I have some nice new frames for £49.50 rather than £99 (I get 50% off as I get my contacts at the same place) and £19.95 for the test itself.
I even managed to not spend anything else really, I picked up some christmas pressies, but they came ot under £5.
Oh has a job interview this morning, which will mean more money for him if he gets it, so fingers crossed. He has promised to ring me once the interview has finished but we shall see.
I has a nice cheap weekend other than the glasses, the only other money I spent was for some drinks at my Aunt's 60th and they came in under £5. I just need to keep up the good work.
Was ok food wise over the weekend, had some buffet food on Saturday night which wont be good, but hopefully I'll have not done to much damage.
Have fun everyone xCurrent debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Afternoon!
Well another sainsburys free day! Although I did have lunch in the canteen, so it wasn't exactly a spend free lunchtime.
OH still hasn't called to let me know how he got on  so I have texted him and left an answer phone message!! I really want to know how it went!!!Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0
