    Afternoon all

Well I called it a day at work as my head is still killing me and I the pain killers aren't really doing anything!!

But I am sat at home, looking at ebay and I think I might be brave enough to actually list something later. I have some old clothes which might do well and some books that haven't sold on Amazon that might be worth a try. I'll let you know how I get on.

I'm feeling a bit better now, although I am sat with the laptop in a darkened room... so that might have something to do with it.

    How are you?

Nothing much OH has the first match of the season at home, so will be going to watch in tomorrow afternoon other than that I don't intend to do much. Catch up on some sleep hopefully!

Although tomorrow could be a long one if we are talked into going for a drink after the match.

I moved (OK consolidated) my lloyds OD into my big loan.... :o

The girl in Lloyds also gave me enough to clear my Store Card, and as we miscalculated (I could have changed the amount but...) I can clear my smaller loan, my Bed (if they'll let me) and some of my A and L OD.

I hadn't planned to do it:o , but I was so close to my OD limit :o and didn't really know what to do. So I have cancelled my OD :T(Although I need to go in and check as it's still appearing online) I'm also going to call the Bed finance people and check I can pay it off early, if not I'll just move that amount into savings and do it that way.

I know we go on about not consolidating (been there, said that!) But I do feel much better, the new loan runs for a year long, but I can still overpay and I'm not charged for early repayment. So while I now owe a bit more (I no all the interest on the new loan so it might not be much more than what I owe now if I knew the interest on that!)

    So the plan is this....

In the next week (I get paid on Thursday) I will contact everyone about repaying early and then pay/cancel the accounts :D As my loan repayment date is so close the new loan repayments don't start until October, so I have £242.82 extra this month, which means I should clear everything and still have some cash left over.

I've going to stick to my spends plan as it is now going to be a case of repaying early, rather than just trying to pay everything off. I might be going on Holiday to Ibiza in May so I need to start saving for that (We are getting a villa cheap £150 for a week :j !!)

So I know I've been a bit stupid, but in the same respect I feel much better for it. And as I have found this site I am going to make it work.

Wish me luck and I hope you don't think I've been to stupid.... I did manage to get a better interest rate, so will be paying less than what I did owe.

Hope you still think well of me!!!!

    x

Ok, just set me Amazon payments to go back into my A and L account, I'm gonig to use this as my holiday fund account, that way, all the money is in one place... and the interest rate is better than my Lloyds savings accounts.

I must admit it does feel much better, I know it's not really the way to do it, but my sanity is feeling really good at the moment, and it's taken a load of the stress away!
