Just done a lightspeed survey and realised that between that and Pigsback I should have £20 worth of vouchers to spend for Christmas! I'm thinking Amazon vouchers, that way I can get books and DVD's, CD's etc. It's all very exciting, although I am slightly concerned I'm already thinking about Christmas presents!!!

I think a lot of people are starting to think about Christmas, I have 20.15 in piggy points and a tenner on lightspeed so thats a help. I am looking out for bargains now and hopefully wont have to spend a fortune on pressies.

I am glad you seem quite cheerful at the moment but I hope your headache clears up asap!

    Enjoy your work do!

    Oh it's lovely!

I have a couple of homemade scarfs which will do some people, but I am struggling on a couple I have a friend (+ husband) in the State, so it must be light (postage is horrible!) and also a friend in Derby who has had a really tough year, so again postage. But I am sure I'll think of something.

You may find with such a favourable exchange rate that you can send your American friend gifts from an American website for a lot less than you would think. My brothers gf is in New York State and he gets her wonderful things for very little.

I'd not thought of that actually. I'll have a look.

    Thanks

Just spoken to my best friend about Christmas and we are setting each other a limit of £20 for Christmas presents. So will start looking for little gifts and make her a gift hamper/box thing.

Some else has mentioned biscuits or cookies so these will do for a couple of other gifts and Best Friend can have some to. Looks like a plan is formulating. Really just Mum, OH and friends in the states to worry about.

    Morning all.

Had another good day yesterday. i only put on half a pound a SW which I was ok with. But I am really going to stick to the plan from now on and get back to loosing some weight. Feeling motivated and positive. I can do this!

So I am not going to have something if I don't really need it. I have my SW book with me so I can look up things if I'm not sure rather than eat them and worry about it later.

So I will keep you posted.

Moneywise, I'm doing ok, need to check internet banking and see if my bank transfer has gone in. But looking good. I'm trying not to worry about it to much as everything will sort itself out in good time. I've had another couple of lightspeed surveys come through so I am off to do them.

Lucy - thank you so much for the SW book..... you're a star!!! I can't print it off yet as off work today due to tonsilitis :( but I will as soon as I'm back from my holiday.

Quick ques.... did I read that you've made a chicken curry from a SW recipe? I'd love a copy if you've got one.... love curry....!

I'll have a look online for the recipe and email it to you.

Tonsilitis isn't fun, I've only had it once when I was about 7 but it wasn't nice if I remember.
