I think that might be part of the problem, I just need to chill a bit more!

    Hi.

Well I have calmed down enough to look at things rationally. I'm hoping that if I stick to my budget I will have £125 left in my account at the end of the month.

That accounts for all my bills, £10 a week (going to try this one) and £20 for the bank holiday weekend. I'm going to stay with my OH at his parents, so hopefully will not spend much (this may go up if he'll take petrol money)

I'm transfering £69 into savings at the start of the month for my OD and I'm going to go and up this to £100 in a minute. So if I look at it logically things might not be so bad.

    Hi again!

Right I have just changed my payment details for Amazon, now everything I sell will be paid into my Lloyds account rather than my A and L account (I don't pay interest on it, so thought it could wait)

Which means I have £78 to pay off this months OD (thanks to the car boot and Quidco) and £91.42 (so far) for next month, from Amazon and the extra money from my pay rise :T Which should reduce everything nicely. Might not get it all gone by Christmas, but that doesn't matter.

Just need a few things to sell on Amazon now.

From looking at the Forum today I think a lot of people are stuggling, maybe it's something to do with the time of year?

    Ok

I have had 2 sales on Amazon this afternoon! Which will help towards my OD. I've bought a bottle of Diet Coke from work.

I'm going to keep the bottle as I have one at home and will use them as weights for my Davina DVD's. Much cheaper than going out and buying some.

I've cut my shopping list down to the one thing I need today which is yogurts, I'll pick up whichever I can eat and are on offer. Everything else can be replaced once I've run out and actually need it.

Feeling much, much calmer about everything now. I know I can pay it off, but I am going to stop beating myself up about it as that doesn't solve anything!

I've looked at my budget as if I'm really good I might be able to pay over £100 off my OD next month, but I am giving myself some room just incase something comes up, I think about £40 should be enough. It'll stay in my account so if I don't need it, it'll go towards to OD.

So no random spending for Lucy from now on!! But I think I may have found my enthuiasum (?) again, which should help.

    Congrats on the sales!

I think you really need to stay disciplined and avoid any shops as much as possible. We all mean to pick up on thing, but then we see another thing we fancy and another....... so best just try and make every day a NSD or think to yourself a good quote I saw somewhere on here (dont remember who said it-sorry) "I go to work to earn money not to spend it"

    This is true!

I'm only going to get yogurts, I don't really need anything else tonight. And I have to post some Amazon sales.

The weathers so grotty I don't really want to do anything else.
