I would have loved one of these bags -i just like the look bit retro 70's BUT there is no way i would que up at 4 am to be beaten by the 'i sell my soul on ebay' brigade (i know its free enterprise ... its one of my soap box issues).
well done to anyone who got one!Debt free May 2016 (without the support of MSE forum users that would never have been possible - thank you all)0 -
Has anyone who got a bag not put it on ebay???
Yes . I queued at 6.00 for my daughter and she is thrilled with it and will not be selling it. She will just be showing off to her friends who said she wouldnt get it! She got me some flowers as a thank you and it is my birthday on Saturday so I am expecting a big pressie!!0 -
So it's just another designer must-have, then...nothing to do with the environment. Otherwise, they'd have made enough for everyone to have one. Cynical, but true.0

Apparently there will be another run later in the year, in green or navy and by pre-registering on her website you get advance notice of the pre-order

I wouldn't have minded one as I'm amassing quite a collection of canvas bags which regulary get used but not enough to queue at 5am or pay way over the odds on ebay.
Very succesful marketing stunt though even if it doesn't help the masses re-use bag (unless you can count selling them on ebay as a re-use which I guess at a stretch you could:rotfl: )0 -
Well I got a lovely straw bag in my local Hospice shop today. I paid £2 for it. I saw the same ones in Peacocks yesterday for £7, so I'm really pleased! Oh, and I won't be putting it on ebay, I'm gonna use it for shopping!I Believe in saving money!!!:T

OMG! This person is selling a PLASTIC saiansubrys carrier bag but look at the auction, it is being cleverly disguised as an Anya bag. Anyone who is desperate for this bag and has just glanced over the item description will almost certainly be fooled into thinking this is an actual Anya bag.
Feel sorry for the current highest bidder!
This seller surely must have no conscience.0
