No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in December

No ins or uu to report so just popping in to say hello and hope you are all organised for next week.
I have decided to do some serious budgeting next year in order to pay off our debts. Spending on beauty related products has also got to be tackled so I have decided as I don't really need anything next year that I will have a budget of £10 per month, this can be carried over into the next month and so on if not spent but I cannot spend it in advance. This allows enough money for a little treat without adding to debts.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Wins, how lovely. I really like Nein Nein.....
Great idea about having a beauty budget, hopefully you won't then feel deprived. Do you look in on any of the DFW diaries, whilst I would be a quaking wreck if I had to service the amount of debt that some of the people do, there are some very inspiring stories of how people are organising their lives and dealing with reducing it. More power to you, and best wishes for the studying.:):)The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
Another UU
- Jessica Cuticle Cream. I WNBA, it's ok but I reckon I could just use some aromatherapy base oil that would cost less and do just as good a job. In any case, I still have a few different cuticle products to UU first as well as a ton of handcream.0 -
UU
Mary Greenwell, Lemon Perfume Sample, 1.5ml - WNBA as too expensive but im one of these crazy people who quite like the smell
Sebamed Night Intensive Cream, 10ml - WBA as a lovely thick (but not too heavy) night cream. Nice fresh scent aswell!Total debts = [STRIKE]£3116[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]2216[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£2066[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1916[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1766[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1616[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1466[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1316[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1166[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1016[/STRIKE]£866
DMP £150 each month
Total paid off so far £2150

Hello ladies,
Ecstatic to have finished work now until the New Year
Hope everyone is well and looking forward to a lovely Christmas.
I've a UU and a couple of small IN:
UU is Neutrogena Multi-Defense Moisturiser - WBA - On the down side this is a little strongly perfumed for my liking and has a habit of making your skin 'flake' (at least it reminds me to exfoliate regularly), also the pump bottle is very rigid and does't give much warning that its running low, it doesn't splutter as such just runs out dead which could be a pain... On the positive, despite the strong scent it didn't irritate my sensitive skin, seemed to keep any oiliness in check (this one is for combination skin), felt very moisturising and is a total bargain at £1.99 in HB. Moving onto a balance Me moisturiser next that I think I thought I'd already used but hadn'tWill then see if Santa brings me any more before I think about buying something else.
IN are VO5 Gloss Me Smoothly Conditioner 250ml, already had and loved the shampoo and this was only £1 in HB, so far, so good - thanks VALM for the VO5 recommendation - not used it since I still lived at home.
Other IN is Sanctuary Body Scrub - no scrub in stash at all and my skin is feeling a little dry and in need of some TLC so will have a soak, scrub and moisturise, been very lazy on the moisturising in the cold weather so only myself to blame. I only bought the 50ml tube in case Santa wants to bring me some more
Off to spring clean, iron and generally have everything ready eeekkkk I'm soo excited :j Have a fab time everyone, I wish you all the very best x0 -
I have sucumbed
to the Boots P&P offer, buy 6 serum for £28, they are normally £28 each :rotfl:I won't get them for a few days but wanted to delcare them in case I forget!
I am thinking that they will get used, can give one for BF's DM for mother's day or maybe I could slip one into her Christmas gift but had already planned on giving her a BS set.
Hope veryone has a lovely weekend.Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -

UUs to report - Liz Earle Nourishing Botanical Body Lotion, 200ml - WBA, effective moisturisation and the scent is pleasant and not overpowering. Have more in stash!
I still love this body lotion. Before I used to exfoliate regularly I found it was the only lotion that kept me moisturised all day. Wish I could have put my LE order in last month to get another tube as this as the GWP.The Benefit website is currently saving me from myself with its server errors :rotfl:
I can't believe they are having another flash sale. I'm not buying though as I know that MrM bought some products in the last one. Will see what Santa brings but probably won't be too happy if it's not Lemon Aid. MrM has mentioned in the last couple of days whilst he's been off work that he tried to get something for Me and Emma to share. Could be Lemon Aid.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I think I'm also going to follow kiplingmonkey's example and put money in a jar when I don't spend on TSVs and also when I finish something but don't have to replace it. We will be saving hard again next year as we want a new kitchen.Have two freebie ins to report

Lucky you. I love Nein Nein Nein. Have a mini bottle and think I'll repurchase when this has gone. I'm glad to have finished work as well emsjune and am hoping to have a restful time before going back to the madness in the New Year. We already have ten completions lined up for the first week in Jan.
Am nursing a hang over this morning as we were at Emma's Karate Presentation Night last night. She has her last Karate lesson of the year today which I'm glad of as we can do the food shop without her and finish wrapping her gifts.
Glad you like the V05. You've just reminded me that I should have picked up some of the shampoo from Superdrug yesterday but I was so fed up of shopping that I didn't bother to go near the shops yesterday.I have sucumbedto the Boots P&P offer, buy 6 serum for £28, they are normally £28 each :rotfl:I won't get them for a few days but wanted to delcare them in case I forget!

That's a really good offer if you use this product. Well done.
I have two INs to report courtesy of Christmas gifts from workmates:-
Secret Santa : China Glaze Santa Paws set of Red Satin and Pure Joy. Pure Joy on top of the OPI Ruby For Rudolph I was wearing and which was chipped and it is lovely. I did smudge a couple of nails before they were dry so if I've time later will repaint my nails.
From my friend who I am secretary for: Philosophy Thank You kit containing Raspberry Sorbet shower gel and lip gloss. Love love love Philosophy and so pleased with this kit.
If I don't get a chance to post before Christmas I hope everyone has a lovely time.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
