No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in December

I have another UU - fcuk shower scrub - :j I got it through the fcuk bag through Boots a few years ago, really like the smell and lasts a decent time. WBA
Was browsing through Mr T last night passing time before meeting someone and saw they had a new type of Olay facial wash for 1/2 price 97p, picked it up then put it down again :A has anyone tried it, it seems very cheap for Olay and if its good I should maybe buy one to try ...:cool:

I've a few UUs recently, mainly samples:

Nuxe ultra comfortable face cream 5ml: I came out in spots when I started using this but it may have been a coincidence...I finished it on my neck instead. WNBA.

Philosophy Microdelivery peel 2x1ml (it's a two-step thing so one sachet for each step). I actually really liked how this made my skin feel. I probably wouldn't buy this product (because it's £59!) but I'd like to check out more products containing lactic acid.

Caudalie Vinosource creme sorbet 1ml: smelt lovely and nice texture but I used the entire 1ml for a single use! This may have been because I used it after the Philosophy peel so maybe my skin needed more moisture.

ELF oil blotting sheets: WNBA. I've since found out that ELF do another type of blotting sheet that are much better! This was a 3 pack so I still have the other 2 left.

Body Shop satsuma body butter: WBA, love this. I have 1 more body butter (mango) from last year's sale. Must resist TBS sale as I'm moving flats in about 6 so don't want to have to move a stockpile.

Finally finished a pack of 25 Simple Face Wipes. Nothing special. But I'm now down to using the 15 pack size of wipes. Once I'm down to the last pack I'm only having one on the go and will only buy a new one when it's nearly finished. Honest!

Aran Aromatics Lavender hand cream 250mls. Wouldn't buy again. There is around 1/8 inch left and it's spluterring and I can't be bothered to get it out. It's kinda runny, nice smell, liked the pump. But I doubt I'll see this brand around here again.

I'm on the naughty step because I went to Sephora yesterday and bought the Grapefruit spray cologne. Well, I know that nobody will buy it for me.

Just quickly popping in to report one IN: Sure deodorant spray as my deodorant went missing in the move!

No other UU's yet, but I am distributing my toiletries all around the new house in order to encourage regular use. I was shamed by the four full boxes of toiletries that moved house. I think it's likely I'm going to be avoiding the Xmas sales for toiletries; I may treat myself to one thing out of the toiletries money, but will otherwise save it up for a big splurge on liz earle, molton brown and neom once I graduate :-)

Two UU to report

-ORBA Gardeners hand cream. WNBA - it's ok but I think my favourite handcreams are Crabtree & Evelyn and L'Occitane. I have at least a year's worth of handcream in stock anyway so won't be buying anything new for ages.

- L'Occitane Ultra Rich Eye Cream. WNBA - it's ok but I've used better eye creams, have a few different ones in my stash to UU.

I've been finding myself getting the urge to go shopping to get a new dress or two to wear over the festive season and I'm also thinking about a red Chanel nail polish that I have the matching lipstick for. I'm not going to let myself indulge. Will try on some dresses later and pick out what I am going to wear for each occasion and I'll do my nails with the most similar red I have in my collection.

Maybe if I manage to keep up not buying toiletries for a few months I will let myself have the Chanel as a treat - I have enough Boots points to pay for it. But I think it's good to practice a bit of restraint and prove to myself it really doesn't hurt!

I have a few UU's but they are very slow this month.

Nivea Night Cream Sample - WMBA, it was ok but the sample only lasted one night so hard to know how good it was.
Olay Regenerist Sample - WMBA again it seemed nice but hard to tell with a small sample.

I am very pleased to report that I have no in's, this is expecially good as normally I buy myself a gift from Boots each year. I haven't been impressed with Boots this year, their gifts haven't tempted me at all.
