No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in December

Another UU - Clarins toner for normal to dry skin. This is ok but I have a HUGE stash of cleaner and toner so won't be buying anything for ages.
Once I do need to am more inclined to buy something like rose water from Neal's Yard - it's kind to the skin and smells divine and I'm a sucker for a nice scent.0 -
Forgot to mention, went to Holland & Barratt to buy a present for someone. I succumbed and bought Dr. Organic Aloe Vera deodorant (50ml) and Dr. Organic Vitamin E deodorant (50ml) on their buy-one-get-one-half-price deal. That’s really not bad as they rarely have offers on, and I normally try to avoid using regular deoderants cos fo the the blocking effect they hve on the pores of the skin, so I got some. However, as I’m currently rearranging my bathroom and have had to re-examine my stash, I don’t think I realised exactly how many normal ones I have !
New stash list to follow…Please call me 'Pickle'

How did you get these for £28? I see the set is £60 on the Boots website. (This is an item that my Mum uses regularly)
Not quite sure how it works, you could get three for £14 but I got 6 because then delivery to the store was free. :T It's currently half price (£14) at the moment as well as 3 for 2 and somehow works out at £14 for 3! :j It keeps going out of stock but keep an eye on the website as its being updated.

Hope everyone has a lovely Christmas, see you all thenLife is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -
One more UU: molton brown warming eucalyptus bath and shower therapy mini.
It's gone in my first bath in our brand new house, so ill love it either way!
One other UU was a Dead Sea source shower gel in nourishea. A pack of these see bought for my by a friend at least one, if not two, years ago. The smell of this was a bit funny but it may have just been me. I've had a look online and it seems you can't buy these products anymore do its probably just as well!0 -
Can I join please? Been lurking for a while but think I'd better take the plunge and join before I give in to the sales!
Will post my list later. It took me over an hour to write so might take a while to type up :eek:0 -
One more UU and the last of the year I think -
TBS Pink Grapefruit Body Butter - WBA, liked how quick this sunk in and the scent is pretty nice.
Painted my nails with Essie Leading Lady, a lovely sparkly red, perfect for Christmas!

I'm using handcream/lotion like there is no tomorrow because it's so cold and dry. -25C is predicted for Christmas. Left an Upper Canada White Tea and Ginger hand cream on our outpatients unit, doesn't leave a sticky/greasy feeling on the skin and lasts through a hand wash or three. I've got a clinique hand cream in the tote bag for work, a Crabtree & Evelyn one on top of my book by the bed, a Morrocan oil one in my handbag, a rose lotion near the TV and three open bottles in the bathroom. I think I have a bit of a problem.
I've decided that if I ever have to buy a nailpolish again, I'll go China Glaze. I like the way it doesn't seem to smudge under the bedding at night.
I'm debating unsubbing from TopBox because honestly, they've been crap lately. Either forgetting items or sending samples that are so small people are furious. They are trying to keep people by announcing a Prive Box from an Iconic company next month whatever thaat is. I mean iconic is Chanel or YSL to me. I'm tempted to give it another month but January starts the Dior Secret Admirer box that I donated to charity for.
Anyhoo. Happy Christmas to all. Im working on the day and leaving the menfolks to turkey roasting.0 -
I am popping in to wish you all a Merry Christmas. I am going away tomorrow to celebrate Christmas for 4 days.
I hope you all have a nice time whatever you do.

Happy Holidays everyone! I've been working 12-14 hour days for the last two weeks and haven't had a second to do anything social (even online). I can't even keep track of my UU's, but I did get some really lovely IN's for Christmas.
I got a lovely candle from my husband's cousin yesterday that put a huge smile on my face
I also wanted to mention that on the facebook page, people have commented about having another swap after the holidays, if you are interested, please send me a quick pm, i'd like to know how many people are interested. We may even up the amount as the £5 amount was too little according to some of youNo Buying Unnecessary Toiletries Challenge

The Boots sale has started and I managed to get the Marc Jacobs Daisy gift set that I wanted. It wasn't half price but it was a third off so quite a good deal. It was hard going as it kept crashing but I went around the houses a bit and managed to pay for it and arrange to collect it in store.
Trying to avoid looking at anything else! I usually do get quite a few bits to use for birthday presents and next Xmas but I often end up keeping them for myself which I'm trying not to do any more. I got quite a few bits in the 75% off sale in store last year so am going to try to wait until then.3 stone down, 3 more to go0
