    Evening Peeps

I had an interview this week for a part time job. It seemed to go well but it half the hourly rate I was on. I guess it means I wont have any responsibility and that I can finally enjoy life a little.

I am in the middle of crocheting my mum a throw but apart from that havent done much OS this week as I havent been on top form.

I have finally changed my bedding over to the fleece stuff and was so snuggly last night.

It has also dawned on me that in precisely 31 days time I will be a married woman!!!!!!!!:eek:

    Take care all x

    Gosh. I'm earlier today.
Didn't realise you were a singer Fuddle. Soprano, alto, tenor or bass?
Better start tuning up your vocal cords, we hold auditions you know, before you're allowed to join in the Christmas singing here.

Betheebee: all the best for the wedding. It will be bitter-sweet but hopefully will leave beautiful memories.

LW: I hadn't realised that things were so bad that your only social life was with this lot on here and a feather duster. Keep posting if you can, we all love to hear about your doggie friends. So glad you'll be having a Westie for Christmas. Bread or cranberry sauce?
Seriously though, all the Westies I have known have been great characters so you should be in for an entertaining time.

OS? Are we supposed to be doing OSy things?
Ah! Back to the naughty step.

Congratulations on getting married red_lady :) Are you nervous? Everything all set and ready?

    Hi all

I was in two minds about posting today; my instinct is to disappear into Lurkdom til I'm in a better place, so that I don't drag the thread down; but on the other hand, the Daily and Flylady threads are my only source of social contact. All I will say then, is if you guys feel I'm being a pain, tell me, and I'll lurk for a bit.:o

Betheebee I hope the wedding goes well; and that the Bride and Groom have all the happiness in the world, for however long they have together.:happylove

Bitsy how's Loony-tunes tummy today? Tell her Auntie Wolfy says stop eating rubbish, you silly girl!:naughty:

What with her, and poor little Jack, I'm doing lots of well-doggy-tummy vibes these days!:o

Talking of dogs, I can't recall if I mentioned yesterday, but I had an email confirming a visit from 23rd to 28th December of an elderly Westie named Sammy;:T so the holiday period will at least be bearable.:o

Stay warm and safe everyone; it's perishin' out there – Mr LW said the shed thermometer read minus two this morning.

Hugs LW xxxx Luna is back to to her tip top naughty self  spotted some dogs on our walk, ignored my commands to stay and took off to greet them  if you can get a lab to stop thinking with her stomach you're a better person than me ;)

Didn't do my baking, got engrossed in the loft  boy there is a lot of crap up there to sort out  had to restrain myself from bringing down 4 boxes of baby toys

    Rachel feel better soon xx

    Tina malteser welcome :)

Redlady woo hoo 31 days :j

Can't decide what to have for tea. No idea what time H will be home. Am sick of not having proper meals :o cooking for one just doesn't thrill me :o

Perhaps I will have a meal of the liquid variety ;) it's Friday after all ;)

Chilly here today, I wore my snow`boots today for lunch duty, so my feet were snug & warm.
I have DGS for a few hours tomorrow, so I'll take him to photograph the local floods, make banana bread & make some Christmas decorations.
Beemuzed & LW, please keep posting, otherwise we'll miss you & worry about you.
    Have a good day everyone.

    Evening everyone

Trying to get on the thread earlier today. Not been on for a couple of days. Still not happy at work, trying not to let things get to me anymore so trying to be strong, I think I reached rock bottom confidence wise two days ago, now on the way back up. I have managed to get an interview for a job in a school next week, only as a teaching assistant but I have to lead a Guided reading session on macbeth Act 1, scene with the witches, macbeth and banquo. Trying to find out how to do this on the internet, got some idea, but not sure how to run the session is it silent reading then questions to check their understanding? It is for a small group of y5 pupils. I know there are some people on this thread that work in schools, just wondered if they could give me some pointers. I would be very grateful.

os today cleaned all floors downstairs, kitchen cleaned, house really needs a good blitz this weekend though.

BB - thanks for checking on me, I am feeling much stronger now.
LW - keep posting, I really enjoy your posts.
Bitsy - Good luck with the house selling. Thought of you the other day my dm went to the christmas market in bath.
Tru - looking forward to the carols.
Redruby - sorry I missed your dd birhday, hope she has a great time tonight.
Beemuzed - I never have much os to report, please keep posting.
Welcome to all the new posters.

Sorry if I have missed anyone. Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Enjoy the rest of your evening, take care.

Fuddle: Have sharpened my red biro in preparation.

Topsy: Long time since I did this but I would have them reading the parts aloud (like an audition), then discuss, then question. If any time left read in parts again to see if understanding the text better made a difference to the way it was read.Even get them to stand up for the last time so that it is a more dramatic reading.

    Hi all,

Have had no broadband for almost a week and have been sick with frustration...back to-day but am only getting on now.

Welcome to newbies who have arrived in my absence....will need to catch up with everybody when I get time.

Not sure that I will sleep to-night as DD3 is just about landing in Dubai now on her way home for a month, they left Perth over 10 hours ago, 2 hours in Dubai and into Dublin around 11am....sooo excited.

    Sleep well and stay warm
