Aww congratulations on the safe arrival of Henry, ETO! :)

Not much potting, trying to frantically save for the moving fees. Unfortunately DH seems to be finding a million and one things that need fixing, 2 things for the car and 1 for his bike!!! Give me strength!!! Plus the business insurance! :(

However the house is going well. We had our mortgage application put through the other day and the lady at the bank said it was looking really good and was 'fast tracked' which means that hopefully when the underwriters look at it at the end of this week they'll just say yes straight away....what lovely credit ratings we have and well managed bank accounts...I think a thanks to MSE :money: is deserved!! :T

Our sellers had an offer accepted on a property they want to buy on Monday and it is an empty house so it looks like it could move quickly!! Which is exciting!! :D So I have around 2 grand to find in about 6 weeks....eek!! I'm sure it will all work out! It seems meant to be! ;)
Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!

Welcome back my partner n crime  :D missed you muchly!

Well have finally had a response from the school about DS and basically ive got to make an appointment to go in and talk to them about his needs etc. DS asked about the cheese and yup thats the culprit :( they gave him the bag to check and it says it contains wheat, but now we know what it is we can get it back out of his diet and him back on the road to recovery :j :j

must start packing tomorrow for our weekend away! trying to find restaurants around ickworth that have good GF menu's *rolls eyes* this is always the hardest part of trying to have a break as they either have great mains and pants dessert (what 11 year old wants fruit salad for pudding!) or amazing desserts and everything on the main contains gluten  DS informs me he will be a chef when he grows up and will be opening a completely GF restaurant! :D

Congratulations on the birth of Henry!

Well £5 in the pot for me today and there have been several and a few two pound coins betwixt now and when I last posted which was many moons ago.

I am hoping that now the kids are both fully fledged and looking after themselves I will be able to keep the pot sealed until Christmas for the first time ever!

There has always been offspring needing my savings for one thing or another in the past!

    Huge congratulations ETO :j :j

Hope you, Mr ETO and wee Henry ETO are doing well and that you're looking after yourself. I'm very impressed at you being out and about and having friends over to visit :)

In potting news, I have finally spent some actual cash rather than use my cashback CC.....resulting in £1.84 pottage :j

Saver88 - thank you for your thoughts. Unfortunately, it was not good news and I have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Biopsies have shown that it has spread to one of my lymph nodes. So......surgery on 10 June to remove tumour and lymph nodes. Then chemo and then radiotherapy.

Deep breathe and get prepared to go into battle with the damn thing!!

Nothing potted today and it may be a bit slow for a while as decided that i am not going to take on any work for the next few months.
