Evening..
Went shopping in Aldi today and although I paid with card, a friends asked us to pick up a few bits for him and gave me the money when we got there.. so £2.45 went straight in my pot when I got home.
After christmas I will start drawing my grocery budget out in cash and scrimping, so I can put as much as possible away each week... It's hard at this time of the year as budgets kind of go out the window!!
xxUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
A very warm welcome, sexyshark, it's lovely to have you with us.
Enjoy yourself saving. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 5 of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge.
*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it helps so very much.
Lovely to see you, rasp. Such few coins sound so different to those full ones we had just over a week ago...ah, not to worry, we'll soon have them clunking - I hope.
Oh, Rosy, just when I'd forgotten about that bloomin Victoria sponge, you rake it up again.......along with muffins!!!!!:mad::mad:
It's bitter, mishmogs and we're only in early December yet!!
I know it's only 2p, scuba, but...better than nowt.
You're doing well, LadyV. Tinsel round your pot eh, I bet that it's not long now before that idea takes on.grass_roots wrote: »thank-you for the lovely welcome Sue-UU.
i think this is such a great but simple way to save and i look forward to adding to your fantastic total this time next year.
I'll keep checking in for inspiration!
That's the way to get even greater motivation, grass roots.
