Hi all, sorry been MIA, had a mad few months, managed to take the stepkids to Alton Towers Feb half term with an over night stay as by some miracle I had potted enough... Wondered why I felt so dodgy there and after 3 very long years of trying it turned out we were finally expecting am now 17 weeks and counting... So I need to pot extra to pay for all the babies stuff and an extra person to buy for at christmas

Ahhhh congratulations chelle. What a lovely surprise for you. We'd been trying for about the same amount of time, and I'm due in 3 and a half weeks. :D

And well done on the potting and saving. :D

I managed £1.30 today, slim pickings here until I get paid in 10 days.
Jakes-mum you're doing so well with the sales I remember you doing similar last year is your house nearly empty now? :rotfl:

ETO - baba will be here before you know it now. I'm quite excited for you :j

Haven't been potting much as I've been very good at not spending.....found 50p today, think it fell out of DS's trouser pocket but I told him it was being potted and he didn't argue :D

  • Me and my partner dont really argue over money -
we have rule; "its your money". When my partner says that to me I often don't buy the item as he says something more constructive if he thinks its worth the money when I ask him. Which is kind of a good thing as I save money and don't spend it on rubbish I don't need. Also he helps me with my savings tin, now and again he'll put some pennies in my tin sometimes without telling me. Thats why I am finding it a little hard to pin point how much is in my savings tin.

I found a 10p today - highest amount of roadkill i've found so far.
Was only going to pot 51p today lol
