  • Hello everyone

Every week on Fridays I round down the monies in my purse to an even pound figure. The change that is left goes into my sealed pot. I don't count the change.

This week was handful of mixed coinage made up 20,2 and 1ps went into the pot. The pot is feeling heavy and making a nice rattling sound.

  • Congratulations on the baby floella. :j

    £2.35 potted today.

First pottage in ages. It's a really slow year this year for potting. Don't think it'll get much better as I have just started my maternity leave so money will be tight.

However I have just become debt free as of today :D so may try and find an odd pound to pot that would have gone towards the debt.

Hi again, everyone!!!! Thank you ALL for your hugs (even the dodgy ones!) and well wishes, you're a lovely lot and I really appreciate your thoughts. I'm much better than I was, but after the muscle spasm I made it all worse after getting up awkwardly and having a wicked wrenching right across the lower back!! Not to worry, I have to take things really steady, but a least I can now walk!

indigowarrior, congratulations on getting married, and all the very best with your pregnancy, please keep us in touch with how it goes. :T Yes Willow92, you're one of those I always look out for at counting up time as I know you have always had a real struggle. Things looking up now?

Delighted to hear you really did enjoy yourselves in Scotland, Hollygym - you've never got 9 kiddies though - have you?!

Always keep looking ahead, Helen, after all, no point in not doing so! ;)

Sorry to hear about your terribly expensive day, LindyLou, all the best for things picking up now.

Your hotel and position of it sounds great, sparky, the time (until til then) will soon fly by too! :D

Ahhh, bless you, LC 2, that was so sweet. I'm getting there...so long as I can now keep a little active and going very carefully.

So sorry to hear you've been rough, little_sweetie, I hope you're feeling much better now

Many congratulations on the birth of your little treasure, floella!!!!

ETO, that is fantastic news, especially this year!! If you're unable to save too much at least it's not all pay out!! :j

Have a wonderful weekend, folks, and brilliant saving all!!

    Sue x

Anyone wishing to join, please just ask, you're more than welcome, it's never too late. There may be a lot of us, but don't feel intimidated, we're a lovely lot, so come on in.:grinheart

Welcome back Sue, lovely to see you.

ETO - huge congrats on debt-free before baby! You must be feeling very proud!

I've managed to pot another £3ish tonight. Went to bingo with my folks (first time for everything!). All free and had free money to spend in machines. Won £2.10 so straight into the pot! Can't wait till it's time to count x
