At the end of my week and the change in my pocket, my pots are heavier with the following:

    £2 coins - £4.00
    5p's 40p
    Other - £2.68

    So potted £7.08 today!

  • Only 36p potted unfortunately, spent most of my weekly budget so that's what I had left.

Rethinking my strategy from March as worried I won't have much in my pot, had a much better to start to the last challenge. Might see if I can pot £1 a day Monday to Friday... Starting after payday.... :D

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

And wow DreamerHelen how on earth do you do that... I struggle to get up at 6.30 for a days work after a whole night sleep.

Aww my LC2, big hugs to you to make you better! Hope himself has been making you cups of tea at least ;)

Hugs to everyone else ill as well, lots going round again, FIL went back to bed today with flu, im feeling all fluey, DH's arthritis is flaring badly and MIL cant keep her eyes open  need a big red X on me door I think

Had to go get some chips for tea and found a lovely 1p roadkill outside Mr W :D on the downside, DH has taken up smoking again  so SOMEONE is in for a rollicking as soon as his parents go back home  We've had 3 family members hit with serious smoking related illnesses in the last 4 months and my *expletive* DH takes the stupid things back up  I am preparing my guilt trip filled monologue as we speak and I personally think I should be put up for an award as this has to be by far my best effort!

    Thank you JAKES-MUM

Tell Jakes-Dad It took my DH 5 years YES 5 Years!!! but he did it in the end and has now been cigarette free for 8 years :T:T:T So tell him he really can do it cos I said he could

    :rotfl::rotfl:

What really worried me was when he stopped I used to stand near people who smoked cos I missed the smell so I must have been addicted even though I had never smoked how scary is that.

congrats Nickyj - enjoy it as it passess by very quickly.

Poor Jakes mum - what a week with you... well done for surviving!!

I had a sunny and warm week in scotland, but my other 2 children caught the chicken pox that DD1 had 2 weeks ago!! Luckily we were in the middle of nowhere. DD2 is most upset:mad: that she didn't get her week off school as i'm sending her in to school tomorrow.

My poor pot has sufferred and now needs lots of TLC. I've fed her £1.38 to keep her going. Hopefully after shopping tomorrow I shall have some more to feed her:dance:

Hi everyone, hope you've all had a lovely day.

By golly you get up VERY early, Helen!! I could work that many hours at that time of day, though I guess if were a case of 'needs must' I might. I hope the cold's a little better again tomorrow.

Good for you, Dincanada, ot's good to see dollars here.

I potted around £6 odd last night.

If any of you love Billy Fury I recommend seeing the tribute show starring Michael King. It's superb!

A lovely weekend by the sound of it, Modesty, a holiday to look forward to as well now! I can just remember Billy Fury and Halfway to Paradise....loved it, but I don't remember any others. Will definitely watch out for the show though, thanks.

Wow, that was a lovely haul from your DD's bedroom, MissE001.

    Lovely to see you, KONG.
Might see if I can pot £1 a day Monday to Friday... Starting after payday.... :D

All best wishes in being able to manage it, ETO, you can do it!! :grinheart
When does SPARKY come home? Is it this week?

No, LC 2, it's next week. A week's too short, or at least that's how he'd think! :D

Inevitable that the others would get it really, Hollygym, still ar least it'll be over and doe with for them.

A lovely £20 stored in the pot yesterday, how did I forget last night! :undecided

All the best for a lovely Monday, folks, keep warm and saving!
