Very many thanks indeed, folks, I'm much better now, but thank you so much for your lovely words and thoughts.
I hope your DD had a really lovely day, Lindylou, DH too without being too frazzled!
Thanks so much, Lynsey, I love the thread and all it achieves for so many. BTW, aren't you doing so well!!!
All the very best with your new housemates, Rosy, TLC will get her there for sure and I bet you have lots to give.Going to do you, and myself proud. :j:j:j
To anyone yet to join- GO FOR IT :j:j:j
I'm sure you will, haybel, in all honesty though, everyone makes me so very proud as I know all of you fight hard in saving, and I know I speak for sparky and myself when saying that both of us get so very excited on waiting for the Grand Total each year; just watching as everyone adds their savings - no matter how small or large - is absolutely wonderful!! :grinheartDreamerHelen wrote: »I've managed to Pot another £8.77....not quite making it to £20...I'm currently at £19.73....hopefully soon I'll be able to put a little more in....
Been Working hard and I'm having to do an all-nighter tonight...but I'll get there....
You're doing so very well again, Helen, I'm sure you have a great fighting spirit, keep it going.I fear this could get addictive.....:rotfl:
Oh, it does indeed, MissE001, be prepared to save every little bit of cash possible and then be thrilled to bits at count up time! :j
Received those hugs, thanks so much, Kerry. :grinheart
So sorry to hear about your health problems, Summerdaze, you're right though you need to always stay positive and so glad to be C free!!! All best wishes and always keep focused and remain positive. At difficult times dwell on lovely memories of the past or plans for a holiday in the future! :kisses3:
Hi and thanks so much, little_sweetie. Sorry to hear about your CP problems. DH used to get quite stressed at such times til I suggested we sit tight alongside parked cars and wait; sooner or later someone always returns. Beats wasting precious fuel any day!
£20 in the pot today and chuffed to bits!! :j That's all there will be as NSDs until next Saturday, but I'm not complaining.
Have a lovely Sunday, everyone, enjoy it.Sue x

Summerdaze - Sorry you are poorly, I hope you find a new part soon....
Hope all others suffering are turning the corner and feeling better soon.
I had a £2 coin at last, it was from DH so into the owls head that went, the usual £1 per day and £1.45 in change along with 5p back garden kill... yay.
Lovely sunny day here today, snow all gone, two loads of washing blowing in the wind..... like a spring day in suffolk. Unfortunately, I got an email of doom on friday, my boss has been declared bankrupt so the company has ceased to exist. Dam* and blast it..... I liked my part time job even though I had only been there 6 months. Back to searching for work again.....SPC Nbr.... 1484....£800 Saved £946 in 2013)

Thanks for the birthday wishes Sue. Glad you are feeling better.
Emptied the change from my purse and have potted £1! :j0 -
Oh mishmogs I'm so sorry
I know how I felt when my shop was closed by the company 2 1/2 years ago. I had just reached 60 and no one will take me on now. All the retail jobs are going (quite rightly) to younger people so I've never found another job. Hopefully, you're much younger and in with a chance but how awful to find out by email
At least I actually got to see the management with the bad news....
Sue I think you are probably right about just waiting for a space but I felt in the way and getting dirty looks from other space seekers so moved onMust toughen up!
Well, I felt quite down this morning so decided some tidying up would snap me out of it. I found 7p in the kitchen in various spots. I know it's not mine....until NOW....potted!It's amazing how this thread can cheer a girl up so easily :rotfl:
