But the company that took it over is not sharing any data, so the only entry is "debt assigned" one. So will that show under those circumstances to anyone searching the report?Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Yes I see a date however the date is not full. It just says Start Date 10/12. Does that mean 10/12/13 or October 2012?0 -
October 2012 I would think.:beer:0

Not sure what your question is exactly.
So, looking at the above, you now have one default that says it's been assigned to CAIS member?
So from what I understand, that should only be visible by you.
As Lowell removed their seemingly correct default, then I guess someone will likely register a default again if the account gets passed on to another DCA.
Sometimes when accounts are sold, they vanish off your credit file for a bit before reappearing. I've never had the sold to CAIS member on mine before, but actually, if it still contains the account history that's quite useful, as normally the account history gets reset to the date the DCA bought the account.:beer:0 -

Yes thats right 1 default.
Lowell told me they cleared my outstanding balance, closed the account and removed their default. They did not say they passed the debt back to the original lender lloyds. So does that mean I do not need to worry about this debt anymore?
When you say only I can see the original lloyds default. Does that mean this default does not effect my credit rating/score because other lenders cant see it?
If lowell did not pass the debt back to lloyds then does that mean lloyds have to remove their entry from my credit report as lowell ended the account.0 -

Not sure. Maybe the Experian rep can help?
I think you got lucky with Lowells removing the default.:beer:0 -
As far as I'm aware, a default marked 'debt assigned' is suppressed from credit assessment. However, if the OP would like to send us details we'll have a look at it. (uksocialsupport@experian.com)
