  • I have received one of these today.
In a retail carpark for 27 mins over the time when the shop wasn't even open.
A friend I was with had her car there and we are waiting to see if she gets one.
Should we write and defend ourselves or actually ignore?
I really can not afford it and I don't like the fact that you have to read well into the letter to get the 'company' name G24 Ltd.

Obviously ignore any private parking ticket. They are not fines.

Welcome to MSE all newbies - please read some other threads:

Just don't bother with the 'Park Right' thread which is rambling rubbish that should no longer be a sticky.

Any other thread will explain all. Hope your friend gets one too, they are fun to ignore when you know it's all a scam, like a phishing email. :)
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Is today Ground Hog Day or something ???? All in the same link as well !

EDIT - and I apologise if that comes across as rude but really, can people not read nowadays ? It does get somewhat tedious giving exactly the same advise two posts after giving it before and then again a few minutes later.
All aboard the Gus Bus !

Just ignore. You don't have to do anything else.

The Blue Badge scheme does not apply in private car parks - go and check your handbook where it is made doubly clear.

Its the Equality Act that applies here and any suitably disabled person can use a space regardless of badge.

So they are scamming you - ignore them!

I've received one of these tickets too.

Should I ignore it as well?

    (Sorry, I've finally snapped)
