Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Combo Breaker Car Insurance Carver!
I actually offered the tokens to enable people to enter which is technically not offering a raffle ticket. However I have now evened out thescore by offering them free on here (although only had 1 taker!!)

Mind you, offering raffle tickets for Glastonbury tickets was asking for trouble. It breaks just about every rule in the ebay book!

Glad I wasn't the only one to think that.

Well my bag has broken already. I know someone else with the same problem. The material has come away from the handles, at the silver ring bit. I wasn't even carrying anything heavy in it. Typical. Anyone else noticed the same problem?

Okay, I will probably be slated for this........
.....But it IS a £5 canvas bag, mass produced in a sweat shop. Because people are choosing to pay £100 for the bags does not mean they are actually worth that much!
2008 gig list... Nickelback + Staind (OMG...Staind ROCKED!!), Roger Waters, Infadels, Pendulum, The Police, K T Tunstall, Breed 77, Biffy Clyro....oh, and Motorhead :D

I did want to say that, but was to scared.
The bag is made in china, by labour that gets paid 20p an hour.
Even though its got a designer name on it, its not of better quality than anything bought in Primark.

umm...20p an hour means 3 chinese yuan. (a bus ride cost 1 yuan..) so 20 p an hour is not really that bad,...but i do agree that it IS cheap labour. it is below the average pay, but not that much below, actually.

believe me, though 20 p seems very little (probably meant nothing?) to you, some people do manage to get by with 20p a day in china. (not in the big, developed cities, but rather, in the rural areas).

where did they get the 20p estimate from anyway?

If the bag was going to fall apart in less than a week I'd expect to take it back to wherever I bought it, including Primark. Bearing in mind you're supposed to put your shopping in it and I didn't have anything remotely heavy in mine, I don't think it's that great really and I am justified to say that. Should have just put mine on ebay in the first place perhaps....

    :)

Well the fashion-pushers have a notoriously low opinion of the "fashionistas". Long time since I worked for an "up-market" chain, but one notable quote was "wish Diana would turn up with a dog-turd brooch - we could get them cheaper than the t-shirts".

As you say, if people want to pay £100 for £2-worth of product, their chioce. I'm sure there are still some around who would say (but not think) "Oh how clever you are"...LOL, twonks.
