Yep got to my store at 7:20am Hazel Grove and had sold out..on the ineternet clearly states NO RESERVATIONS, so thats a con. Theres another one up the road but but though no point not getting there to be told the sold out at 7am or something.

Really is silly why say these rules about 8am onwards..no reservations etc but all the bags have been reserved?

If you're referring to Stockport, i bobbed by on my way to work and there were 30 people locked into the foyer - they'd been there since 5 apparently!!

Did get out of bed & down to Sainsburys at Castle Boulevard,Nottingham for 6.40am mind! I was told that some people had been in the que since 4am.
Luckily my local store had managed to get hold of 90 bags & i was no 32 in the que. :T

I'm hopeful that this get's me out of cooking Christmas dinner!

Baby Ruby arrived after 55 hours of labour & an emergency c section on Christmas Day at 14.41 weighing 6lb 6oz...And yes I did get out of cooking Christmas dinner!!:rotfl:
  • Sainsbury have done themselves no favours with this one. It a shambles. If the rules had been followed then there was a good chance that more of us would've got a bag!

I too turned up at 7:15 only to be told that all the bags had already been sold. I arrived at another Sainsbury at 7:40, joined the line of people (was number 25), then had to scramble for a ticket as the the dopey manager decided to just hand them out to everyone and anyone regardless of wether they were in the line!! I didn't get one, neither did a few people at the front of the line. One of them counted the number of tickets allocated and guess what???? Yep nowhere near 30 handed out - so, what happened to the 30 per store??? I'll give them the benefit of doubt that 30 weren't delivered:whistle:

People who queued at 2am and got tickets arent technically getting reservations... the manager simply made the decision that they should be given tickets as they were in a queue anyway. Why wait to 8am to give them tickets? If they are silly enough to queue at that time then fair enough!

The fault is with Sainsburys giving it to staff in some stores. That is out of order...
Being bored is so boring Im bored of it... :rotfl:
