  • Wow I loved this link and was very relieved and slightly surprised to find Sainsburys was the cheapest place for my particular shopping trolley. ( I don't drive and this is the most convenient supermarket for me) In fact it was just over £21 less than the four other supermarkets!

I now enjoy compliling my shopping list online and seeing what bargains I can pick up before I even walk over to the shop...and my shopping list is alot posher now I print it out before I go!! Makes shopping a slightly more fun thing!

Don't know if this has been said already - but fixtureferrets only shows savings below a quid before you have to start paying.......

(probably has been said before ;-) )
What should I put in here that won't upset people.........

Hiya dont know if correct place to ask this question so let me know if it is not:-

am wondering does anybody know if market stalls and pound shops who sell branded goods like cosmetics and toiletries are actually the real thing - as cant fathom why anyone would pay the boots, superdrug, supermarket etc prices if the same stuff can be bought for fraction of the price.

    Any replies gratefully received.

I think you're fairly safe with market stalls and pound shops. I buy things like Colgate or shampoo from them and you usually find they're meant to be sold in S. Africa or somewhere - I guess you just don't ask how they came by them.

As for people on the street (here today, gone in 2 seconds when a copper appears) and car boot sales are unregulated and probably more likely to be fake. No evidence on my part, just hoaxes etc., you read and see on TV.

The comparison site is really cool, My shop at ASDA is £70.18 and at runner up there is Sainsburys, YES! Sainsburys at 98.82 (Cheaper than Mr T) and Waitrose in 3rd place at £101.16 and last is Tesco at 103.85!!! I cant believe the difference! Since Tesco abolished R+R I have shopped elsewhere and told them to shove there 1p per pound up there a**e and got a taxi at £3 more than it used to cost to Tesco and went to ASDA instead! I am saving about £40 a week!

    Unbelievable!

Is this the madaboutbargains site, cos I can't see where you can compare shop prices or your trolley. Help needed please

Hi, I just wanted to warn everyone who internet shops with Asda. Make sure you check your items and prices when you get them - esp prices on sub items. I've only shopped with them twice, 1st time 20 items were missing and £6 of pricing was: wrong. 2nd order 4 prices were wrong with sub items & special price items. Thought you might all just want to know. Not sure if it happens with other supermarkets too.
