Roxburghe Debt Collectors

Hi all,
I had a "parking charge notice" from next generation parking on 12th sept, it was unjust and wanted £75 so i followed the advice and ignored it. I then received a letter from roxburghe last week, again, ignored. But today i received a phone call from them demanding the money, I was a little bit shocked so i just hung up and they have since tried calling a further two times!
Anyone else had this?

It does happen from time to time.
The response is this:
"The debt is denied. Under Ofiice of Fair Trading Guidelines you must now refer this matter back to your client. Any further contact from you will be considered as harassment and I may take legal action in respect of this."
Then put the phone down - DO NOT ENTER INTO A CONVERSATION WITH THEM.
That should make them stop. If they don't then come back here and let us know.Je Suis Cecil.0 -
This only happens if your phone number is easily discernible.... is it the same address as listed in the phone book online? If so, mystery solved - and if you answer and they pressure you, apart from the FOAD response, you could say you cannot be of any assistance and stop calling.0

I keep a loud whistle next to my phone for such people .... They very rarely call back after getting their ear drums perforated. The word "gullible" isn't in the dictionaryTickets: 19 [cancelled: 18, paid: 0, pending: 1]

I received a parking enforcement notice from APCOA back in July for stopping in a non stopping area.
As me and my family had returned from holiday we used the onsite long stay car park at East midlands airport and as my 2 young daughters were exhausted from the flight my husband thought it would be a good idea to walk to pick the car up from the long stay car park and to drive down the road to me and my two young children where we were waiting with the cases. When my husband pulled up in the car to collect us he did not even switch the car engine off, I buckled up my daughters and he put the suitcases in the boot of the car. We must have been pulled over in the non stopping zone for 2 minutes at the most (neither if us realised it was a non stopping zone)
We received the letter from APCOA saying that wanted £100 from me or if I paid within 28 days 50 per cent reduction.
I ignored the letter and today I have received another letter from Roxburghe debt collectors these want £148 for our parking charge notice, they have also said that if they receive no payment within 14 days then they will pass this matter onto Graham white (solicitors). The letter also states "we are fully aware of anecdotal information being presented via the Internet and on various websites and you may well feel this guidance is worth following. We strongly urge you to seek independent legal advice rather then rely on those options".
Also
"Under the terms and conditions associated with this parking charge notice it is important to note that the driver who enters into contract with client for the parking of a vehicle at the car park, whether by purchasing a ticket or otherwise, is responsible for the resolution of this breach"
Any further advice would be appreciated, should I expect to a few more letters? Will they actually threaten to take me to court?
This as actually started to worry me a little so please can you put my mind at ease.
Thanks

Just ignore roxburghe they are just a pathetic excuse of a company, who are liars and have been suspended from dvla access for gross misconduct. Apcoa are skating on thin ice also. Graham White ARE roxburghe pretending to be solicitors so they pass it to themselves, graham white solicitors are basically Michael Sobel who is in his 70s is selling his name like a !!!!! for money. So the advice stands at ignoreExcel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
Apcoa have enough gullible people pay up, and would not fancy a decision going against them to bother with court.
Ignore Roxburghe and their pet GW!0 -

All the letter-chains from Roxburghe/Graham White are shown in a link on the sticky thread called 'PPC letter chains' (currently 5th from top of the forum). Of course the letter will 'threaten' to take you to Court - that's why we nickname these letters 'threatograms'!
But they don't actually take you to Court. It's just a well-known mail scam and you should just relax and play snap with each letter till the end (which you can see from the last letter shown in the letter chains thread).
HTHPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Can you tell us the exact date of each fake ticket, and the dates of roxburghe writing to you for each one? In regards to the demands, they are NOT fines NGP and Roxburghe don't have any authority like the police or council to issue fines and penalties . The advice is to ignore these companies as its part of a scam. Roxburghe are currently banned from dvla access due to gross misconduct the same for other companies below.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors.
