Beemuzed - Please stay with us, we like to give you our support.
LW - Hope your pain eases soon.
Happy 18th birthday to RRs DD. :bdaycake:

Really busy at work today - inspectors making a return visit for a couple of days, the school looks fab with all the walls freshly adorned with children's work. It seemed to go well so hopefully they will go away happy. One of the inspectors was my first Head Teacher so it was good to catch up with her (very down to earth).

Presently making stock from a ham hough for lentil soup, will put the stock outside to cool to skim any fat, it should be cold in no time, I don't think the temperature has got above 1 degree today but it has been lovely and sunny. House is freezing but the fire is blazing so should warm up soon. Thinking of those caught up in the floods.

My car passed its MoT today so that's something else out of the way, it didn't need anything doing thankfully. Have already paid the tax for the year.

Chicken breast with veggies for tea when DD gets in at 7.

    Take care. XX

BB thanks for the eggs, it really cheered me up to see them, confused hubby no end, he thought it was a Tesco delivery & couldn't work out why I'd only order eggs.
12 degrees in my room today, I did complain, but it seems that as long as 'best efforts' are made to keep the room warm, that is all I can ask for. If it's 12 degs tomorrow I shall develop a headache & come home.
    Have a good evening everyone.
    Hugs Hester

Beemuzed, I know I am new on this thread but sometimes you just need to offload the stresses and strains. Please stay.

Rubes - 18!! All grown up. Just think what you were doing this time 18 years ago :D

I had an interview yesterday and am keeping my fingers crossed about that one. It seems just what I am after and I also hit a new first. Never before have I discussed spirits in an interview! :D

There are so many poorlies that my sniffles are pretty insignificant.

It's now not long until the big day and the photographer has been paid for and his nibs suit came today. He had it made to measure as he is only a little guy :rotfl: He did send me a pic and he looks pretty lush - but I wont tell him that!:D

I need to get my act together and start getting this place packed up ready for the move in the New Year.

Hugs to those who need it.

No OS here, unless you count shredding a hundredweight of old bank statements etc.......

  • Just got the internet back it was off for 4 hours  DD and DS went into total melt down  whatever did we do when we didn't have it? I was in the middle of doing an Amazon order and pfffft it was gone. It is done now, and I have checked to see if it was duplicated just in case.
I will give o2 their due, they sent a text telling us that there was a line fault and that they were trying to get everyone back on line as soon as possible.

JackieG nice to see you posting, sod shredding I just have a mahoosive bonfire to get rid of sensitive papers :D

Beemuzed - keep posting my lovely x

Shattered! Good day in work. This morning we bought bits for our grotto, all sorted now. And this afternoon we went for a walk along the beach :D It's been a glorious day here so felt I should get the kids outdoors for some air! After work I went to shops to try find a dress for Xmas but no joy.

OS wise - dishes washes, HM chilli for tea from freezer.

    Night all

    x
