Hi check out the pureskin beauty site under information,it tells you all the things to avoid in skincare, the boots no 7 serum is full of chemicals, ive started using a new brand that tesco have brought out called bnatural and i love it and it dosent have the ingredients that strip your skin of its natural oils, its as natural as you can get for such a great price £4-£5.

Thanks for that Kitekat. Do you have a link to the pureskin website? I can't seem to find it. I just found out about the Tesco range- it looks good. But don't seem to have a moisturiser- just a cleanser?- Correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks- I think I found the one you mean- is it https://www.pureskincare.co.uk? You can send off for a free 'Natural Ingredients Dictionary': http://www.pureskincare.co.uk/acatalog/copy_of_Natural_Ingredients_Dictionary.html

Will definitely try the Tesco range.

Yes thats the site.I got the natural ingredients dictionary and it makes for very interesting reading, its made me much more aware of the chemicals in my skincare and cosmetics, and i now check everything before i buy.The more expensive brands and bigger companies seem to be the biggest culprits for having chemicals like parabens, alcohol or isopropyl, sls, methyl and ethyl to name but a few,in their products.

My 60 year old friend started raving over bio oil. It's about £8 a botle and lasts ages. Her skin is in really good condition and she attributes it to this. I have started using it of a night on my face hands and neck and my skin feels less tight and smoother. I have also used it on stretch marks etc. Def worth a try.

Bio-Oil® is a specialist skincare product that helps improve the
appearance of scars, stretch marks and uneven skin tone. Its
advanced formulation, which contains the breakthrough ingredient
PurCellin Oil™, also makes it highly effective for numerous
other skin concerns, including aging skin and dehydrated skin.

im sure a bit of old chip fat works just aswell :p

If i were you i would get a moisturiser with a spf in it and put that on every morning and then a more intense one for the night. I moisturise every morning and its made a big diffrence to my face.

Make sure you drink enough water too

Many thanks for that- it looks interesting, and I note you can buy it in Boots and Superdrug! However on the list of ingredients one of the main ones is liquid paraffin- I'm not so sure this is a good thing.
