I think it just goes to show that not all the advice on here is good dont pay dont pay ignore ignore... however you look at it you are gonna be paying for that ticket...0

On what basis exactly? For parking slightly over a line because the car next to hers had parked over the line? The car park operator suffered absolutely no damage so what is the basis for an extortionate charge? Or are you just posting on behalf of these PPC dregs in order to scare people?0

Pardon?
Please ignore this person, they know nothing.
If you have the right defence the case won't get any where, so worry not.

Are you quite mad or just good at falling for scams? You do not have to 'fight' a PPC! Relax and ignore them, honestly, we have all been there, done that!
Out of 1,800,000 fake PCNs issued in 2011, only forty-nine went to small claims and most of those were then defended (and most won by the motorist).
You have more chance of winning the lottery than having to pay a fake PCN so please don't post alarmist, uninformed stuff like I quoted above.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

That is not likely to happen though, in 2011 there were 1.8m fake tickets issued, 845 lead to claims in the small claims, out of those just 49 went before a judge, and 25 went for the motorist and 24 for the parking company. In 2012 it's going to be even less, and 2013 will be more of the same.
So what defence were you talking about? When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

He received advice and now suddenly he's an expert. All in a couple of days.
What caused the seeming change of tack??0 -
