But now I am much more convinced that it is a windup by more than one person. A number of times I've noticed the tone of posts change quite substantially, much more than I would expect just from a change of mood. They really do read sometimes as if someone else wrote them.
I also find it very hard to believe that a third year philosophy student could write some of the things he writes.
At the moment I am having mega mood changes from this afternoon I went out and got myself an ice cream and I felt really happy to coming on here reading I am fictional and that is very hurtful and that puts me at the edge of crying and going wild with upset.
The thing I find so hard is that up until this year I have never felt this bad as I have always had a target and something to aim for, a future, but come June I have no target anymore and it just feels like I am sometimes drifting to fall off the edge of the world.:beer:0 -

I probably do need a counsellor. I have been send to see a person who deals with psychology especially with disabled people and she thinks I am not too bad. She says it is natural to worry about the future and the unknown, but she says I have everything going for me compared to most people she deals with.:beer:0 -
seven-day-weekend wrote: »I personally do not believe that Phil is a troll.
I do not know however, whether he always gives us accurate information.
However, what I DO know is that he is a young man in a muddle.
Therefore I will continue to offer advice if I can (whether he choses to take it or not is up to him).
I would want people to help my son if he was in trouble, therefore how can I possibly treat anyone else any differently?
This is an excellent post!
It is where I would like to be and for the same reasons, but obviously your patience is greater than mine sdw.
I also do not believe Phil is a troll.
I am not sure about a young man in a muddle? I think perhaps there are other things going on as well, that may explain Phils social difficulties, which without doubt he has.
I agree with melanchollys many posts. (sorry mel, but I think your user name would have been better suited to SP) and I do feel that this will not happen because at the end of the day, we are Phil's audience, and we keep feeding him. I did try a while back to thank him for every post that had some merit, was positive and not self pitying and I wonder, if we all responded to his positive posts, whether the message would start filtering through. But that is of course not to say, we are not here for people when they are genuinely down. But as a virtual audience Phil, we cannot do anymore to help you. You have to help yourself.
However, to return to sdw, I am glad that you are here for him!0 -
What I am going to do is:
1 go back to the doctors and tell them I can not cope.
2 stop looking for a job at the moment and work on my essays and exams
3 look at seeing if I can book a holiday for after my exams.:beer:0 -

Considering you supposedly don`t have the money to donate the £50 you owe to charity, How on earth are you going to go on holiday:drool:  Timberlake Hussy Clique Member No 3  :drool:0 -

Thought i'd come on MSE to see how you doing with our so-called bet! From your posts you have been on most of the day - very disapointing you cannot keep a promise which you said you must keep!
Student Loans went in a week or so ago, you going to contact martin to pay your £50??..
If you turn round when the exam results come out and you've done crap i will have no sympathy for you.
You mentioned a few posts ago about those poor homeless people on the street with drink and drug habits, you've got something bad aswell, internet addiction!!
Right back to doing some important revision for me!0
