@Lynsey: redemption - how does it work? I know you keep your bills and then send it every quarter but if you miss one cycle, the company goes bust or anything like that, you're left out of pocket??

The offer is via a Carphonewarehouse company (Mobiles.co.uk) which is an internet shop. Highly unlikely they'll go bust, but you never know what the future may bring even with companies like M&S.
You would pay Vodafone £33 p/m and claim back £198 over 5 payments form Mobiles.co.uk - equivalent to 6 months free. Topcashback is separate and reduces costs further.
You can send you bills via online, so no need to post. If you were buying today, then send off June bill 1st then every bill every 3 months after that up to the 18th month bill (June 1014). By missing one claim does NOT invalidate others, though that was the case in the past.
My Son would love an 4S, but I'm waiting until after the year, his contract is due for renewal then anyway.
