MSE Iphone 4S Tesco Deal - Has it ended?

Hey!

I saw a fantastic Iphone 4s deal on contract from Tescos on this website and have been trying to get it for 3-4 days now. I rang up 4 stores with phone shops but they all say they don't have any in stock and they don't know much else! :(.

Anyone know if this deal has ended or not? ... It's just any other site looks like it will cost £100's more in the long run, so I'm really keen on getting this deal!

thanks!

  • I'd be very surprised if it came back on, it was a blinding deal. Snapped one up for my daughter's Xmas even tho her current Tesco contract doesn't expire till FEB, it was such a good deal.
  • I know :(. It was pretty amazing. I am new to Iphone's but my phone has just broke and I thought I would get one. The prices from all of the other sites have been ridiculous compared to the tesco one! I'll try again tomorrow I guess :(

I spoke to a store yesterday and was told that there was an email to each store on Friday saying that the phone is OOS but will be back in stock in a few weeks.
I have called customer services and they said more stock is due but they dont know when.
So hopefully the offer is still on.
  • I got this deal yesterday. The helpful staff in the in-store 'phone shop told me that they were getting a few 'phones in at a time but they were selling very quickly. They offered to take my details and call me when they received stock, but then they found they had just one 'phone in the stock cupboard, so I was able to take it away with me.
They said that O2 get the bulk of the stock, so they never quite know when they will get any but they anticipated that the deal would continue for the foreseeable future.
You probably just need to find some helpful people who believe in customer service.
    Good luck!
  • I have a similar story to headintheclouds, I was on a waiting list in my two local stores and on the site asking every day for the past two weeks, yesterday I popped to my local store just on the off chance and was told they had a delivery on Sunday night and they had one black iphone left which of course I grabbed, I was told they had sold so quickly they didnt have time to contact the people on the wiating list, the SA also confirmed that the deal had been extended because of poor stock levels.

I am very very pleased to say goodbye to my rubbish Blackberry Bold and goodbye to Orange, this is my first iphone, I was messing about with it last night and it really is easy to use and a thing of beauty, Tesco are porting over my number today and were very easy to deal with, a breath of fresh air so far, good luck to those still looking for the deal, my suggestion is to keep going back to the store on a regular basis :)

I've just had an update from my local store. Apple aren't supplying Tesco with any 4s until after Christmas. Only a few on O2 are left.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Some redemption deals would work out at a similar price taking all cashback into account and Topcashback/Quidco etc cashback and the free phone rather than paying £100.

@Lynsey: redemption - how does it work? I know you keep your bills and then send it every quarter but if you miss one cycle, the company goes bust or anything like that, you're left out of pocket??
