CSA & overtime?

It is so hard not knowing what to do for the best. How old is the middle one? Just wondered if it was worth fighting through a solicitor or at least getting a solicitor to talk to her to find out what she wants - out of the room from both parents. it worked for my DD who was 11 at the time.0

Thanks for that kelloggs. His daughter is 10 but a very young 10 and very sensetive, we wouldn't be able to afford a solicitor anyway. My partner has text his ex again asking for her to respond to the email but we have not heard anything. He has tried several times to ring the house too but no one ever replies! I suppose we will just have to give her time and a bit of space and hope it sorts itself out. The main thing we are concerned about is that she doesn't think we don't care if we leave it a while. It is so hard to know what to do for the best and to top it all my partners uncle has just passed away so he is feeling mega fragile at the moment.I can only please one person per day.Today is not your day.Tomorrow doesn't look too good either.0

Perhaps he could write her a letter and disguise the writing, or make it look a bit official so that she is likely to read it? At least he could let her know how much he does love her, but also that he would respect whatever decision she made in respect of future visits, but that she could always, always change her mind and he would never reject her or make her feel guilty about it in any way. I feel for you I really do, it must be so heartbreaking knowing that it is highly likely she is being fed such rubbish by her mother who has tried to poison her mind. Hugs from mexxx0

Received papers today from tribunal for appeal against variation decision - interesting read. They are asking if we want an oral or paper reading. We would much prefer an oral reading as I believe it would give us a better chance but with whats going on at the moment I don't think my partner would be up to it.
Reading through the papers the CSA have put things like "spoke to ***** (partners ex) and when she stopped herself from laughing she agreed to (whatever) Why have they put something like that in? Don't you think it shows that they are already bias because I do!I can only please one person per day.Today is not your day.Tomorrow doesn't look too good either.0 -
They need not have commented, but have reported a fact. It doesn't show bias, just a fact of what happened. It shows more about the ex than the CSA.0

I agree with kellogs, I think that they were trying to put most down so at least it is on record her behaviour/contempt mabye?
I feel so much for you both at this difficult time. I have been through this with my eldest, My ex was constantly texting me and phoning me telling me that my daughter didin't want to see me, But and here's the but, She has no power over the youngest as he's his Dad's boy. I know they tried as he told me, he tells me everything. He also told me that my ex's mother wanted her there with her and was pressuring my daughter.
This all came out in the end after tears and tantrums, but I always let her know I was there for her whenever She needed me and always would be.
This is the kind of behaviour that we(my family) have to endure from my ex and her so called Friends and family.
Am I up against it....
You bet.
We all have it bad in every way.
Take care and stick at it, and remember..
