CSA & overtime?

I have already requested this but they haven't taken any notice. I don't want to sound rude by saying to them that I don't want to speak on the phone but things are really getting to me and every time they ring I feel myself getting tearful. I have had to ask them not to deal with my partner as he is totally stressed out with it all. I am grateful that they are keeping me informed now, after so long, but can no longer take the bad news that keeps coming.
They have never asked for a breakdown of incomings and outgoings, I did offer it before but they didn't elaborate on it. I thought that the calculations were so cut and dry that it wouldn't make a difference so I didn't persue it. Should I ask them if I should send it in and will it make any difference? I am happy to send it in but last time I requested that this info stay within the CSA and not be sent out to my partners ex, I also stated that this whole situation was making my partner ill and having to take time off work, they have permission to contact his doctor also. They don't seem to want to do any of this though and do we have the right to request that this info not be passed onto his ex. We have nothing to hide but just want some kind of privacy from her. The more she knows about our lives the more she tends to cause upset and problems for us.
I would appreciate anyones views on my questions. Thanks.I can only please one person per day.Today is not your day.Tomorrow doesn't look too good either.0 -
The info is not part of the appeal and so won't be passed to the other party so you have nothing to lose by pursuing this route.0

Dont go to those law firms !0 -
Usually I would advise against going to solicitors because of the pointlessness of it and the expenses incurred. However, Forshaws seem to be rather successful in certain aspects - getting the CSA to take action they should be doing for example, even though they have blatantly refused to in the past (such as forcing sale of a property earned by the NRP). I don't know about changing the law though - what is their track record Sensemaya?0

UPDATE
Appeals dept have been in touch and requested more payslips which we have provided.
CSA were supposed to be writing to us with details of arrears but this has never materealised!!
MP has not replied to last letter (sent over a month ago) have resent this requesting a response.
Seems like the initial speediness has reverted back to the normal snails pace the CSA are so renowned for!!I can only please one person per day.Today is not your day.Tomorrow doesn't look too good either.0 -
Had my partners kids at the weekend (well, 2 out of 3!) We rang my partners eldest to arrange visit last weekend, as we normally do (as that was when we were supposed to have them) and was told that there was something planned for the Sunday so they couldn't stay the full weekend. We suggested the following weekend then as we wanted to see them for the full term and not take them back early. This was agreed with (by their mother) but she didn't tell the two younger ones that it had been changed so they thought we just hadn't turned up and they got very upset and they were not going to come this weekend. However they did and when we saw them we explained what had happened and they understood. Then we received an email from their mother saying we were no longer allowed to arrange visits through the children as they were getting upset and if we didn't arrange them through her then visits would not happen. This annoyed us as it was her way of trying to spoil our weekend with the children so we thought it was time for the kids (8 & 10 yrs) to see for themselves what was really going on (we thought long and hard about this decision). We showed them the email and they were shocked, they had obviously been fed different info from their mother. They asked us to contact them either by email or mobile phone and to turn up even if their mother argues. I know alot of you will disagree with what we have done but this goes on regularly and every so often she gets an inclination to stop visits for no reason and then blame my partner for it. This was the only way we could make the kids see that we wanted to see them and we try everything we can to see them. We didn't enjoy getting the children involved in this way but what with the stress of the CSA and now this things are really getting on top of us.
I would really appreciate your honest views as to whether we have done the right thing as today we are feeling very disheartened and down about involving the kids at such a young age, but this kind of harrassment is beginning to affect us both.I can only please one person per day.Today is not your day.Tomorrow doesn't look too good either.0 -
I think the children are old enough to work out what is right and what is wrong. It is disgraceful that you have had to take such measures, but I for one (providing what you say to be factual) think you acted in an appropriate manner.
I was the victim of similar maliciousness by my ex over the children, but she couldn't see (or didn't want to see) the hurt she was inflicting on the children.
You're OH's ex is taking a very dangerous path which could backfire on her badly as the children will now be "on their guard" for repeat actions by her. If she doesn't wise up they may grow to hate her because of her lies. Hopefully it won't come to this.0 -
UPDATE
Received a letter from our MP today stating that CSA being replaced by CMEC and that it will take several yearsfor this to take place. The Bill has just received its second reading and will have to be considered in committee. He stated that he agreed with my concerns that the Commission will just be the CSA with another name and also stated that regulations relating to the Commission had not yet been published. He gave me the name and address of the Minister in charge and requested that I take matters up with him with regard to the regulations that I object to i.e. non-guaranteed earnings being taken into account and the PWCs income and assetts not being assessed.
I sent a letter off to him today so we will see what he writes back, if anything!! I know alot of you think I am probably farting against thunder but if you don't try you'll never know. Deep down I know it's a long shot but at least, if nothing else comes of it, I've made a noise about my objections.
Will keep you all posted on progress.I can only please one person per day.Today is not your day.Tomorrow doesn't look too good either.0 -
Are you doing this in relation to the future or your current situation? If current, then it won't do a thing, if the future then doubtful but somebody may read it who matters!0
