Snap-ant - I agree - seems really stupid not to have a cream lining on a light print - how weird is that,

They have agreed to send City Link to pick up the bags I am returning - seems odd as we used to just have a postage label.

Think I'll keep my Tangarine Alvar though as it'll be nice and bright for summer and has a nice lot of pockets. Though I still have a cafe latte Fairfax on order form early Feb - so no idea if or when that will come.

Yes its better to order now when there is the 20% code.

Dorsetlady - I thought I would like the Mitchell Blue as I quite like them bright.

Elysia - that sounds a weird grey one with funny piping - still if we don't order we never get to see them in the flesh'.

    .

Yes, it looked lovely and bright in the photo but in reality it was rather dull - that's why I'm sending it back.

I've gone right off Amazon since they stopped offering Royal Mail postal return labels. It's so inconvenient. I think it's got to do with the massive increase in postal prices for parcels with Royal Mail. Amazon don't want to pay it.

Yes Jelly Tots - cannot agree more. Got van coming next week but will have to find a link to print the label - and I'm sure they've only included one bag not two.

Was going to email to say how inconvenient it is getting. A lot of fuss these days and often you only get a standard emial whihc is what I first had.

Fairfax in Flash Blue £48.30 before discount
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00AMDYNJO/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    Elise in Mitchell Blue £44.99
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B008RVZBXK/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_8?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

Nelis purse £25.60 in Gentle Grey or Caffe Latte
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00AME0I6K/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

Need some tips please - I'm looking for a large-ish bag to carry all my work stuff in, something like the Elise probably, but the cheapest colour there is Mitchell Blue and I'm not over-keen on that. Maybe something like the Erasto? Looking for a bargain though. Any ideas please?

I don't think any of the Mitchell Blue photos show the true colour. All the ones I've seen make it look similar to Deep Sky Blue but in fact Mitchell Blue is quite dark, and I think has a hint of teal / petrel in it. It's not a bad colour, but just not what I was expecting.

I got a Yelina in that colour before xmas, kept it because it was a good deal but still haven't used it!

I used the Collect plus service to return my bag this morning and for me it was better than the post office. I pass the shop on my way to work and it was open at 6:20 this morning. The shop was empty - so no queueing like I have to in the P.O. :) I also got refunded within two hours of dropping the parcel off!

I'm lucky as I have two shops that do Collect plus less than a mile away from my house.

Saw a few Kipling bags in TK Maxx today. A shopper bag in the brown Combo, £24.99, a rucksack in Expresso Brown £40 and a large Fairfax in blue (not sure of exact shade) for about £40 as well.

Went into tk MAxx in bullring Brum, they had a fair few, sorry didn't really look at all the different ones they had - trying to avoid Kipling as think I have enough and just wanted something cheap for work, but included black leather ones from £180 down to about £89 (similar to the devan having a look on amazon i would say) but couldnt justify to myself £90 on somethng that i just chuck on the floor! then they had a fair few in a section on their own (again along the lines of Leah and pesulas, etc). Sorry, will have got the names wrong, i was in a rush during lunch and avoiding parents and the anklebitters! but just wanted to say that they had them in.
