Where that large pocket is sewn onto the main body of the bag, in the vertical bits at each side you can see a little bit of the lining. On my other Fairfax bags all of the lining is tucked out of sight so all you can see is the colour of the bag, but on this one on both sides there is a thin strip of lining colour. It's not a big deal but it just doesn't look right to me.
I bought a Fairfax from Javari last week and I noticed this as well. I assumed it was either meant to be like that or was just a one-off. I sent it back anyway.0 -

I feel like I'm being fussy but somehow it just doesn't look as well made as my previous ones. Do you think this is a good enough reason to ask Amazon to exhange it?
Also noticed the label inside states made in Bangladesh but the one I compared it with said made in China.
I once bought a Kipling from a seller on eBay. As soon as I saw it I was convinced it was fake but the seller assured me it was genuine. I emailed Kipling and attached several photos and they said it was definitely fake.
I'd email them with photos of your bag then you'll have something concrete to approach Amazon with.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Well for the price you expect don't you Scaredy Cat.
You could always order another to compare to see if the bad quality is consistent - and then return the bad one.
Wouldn't think Kipling would sell those as they alwasy say how good their stitching is etc.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0 -
I rang Amazon and they offered to exhange it. They've ordered a replacement for me and I just have to send the first one back using collect+. They were fine about it, no problems at all.
If the replacement is the same I will have to conclude that Kipling have opened up a cheap factory and the quality isn't as good.
Anyway, thumbs up to Amazon for great customer service! :T0 -
Well good luck. If they are going to be that bad quality we might as well just buy the cheaper fakes in the first place!!Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0

I was like that up until this year. I had a black Kipling bag that I'd used for about ten years but this year I've bought six new Kipling bags already! I've only used three of them so far.0 -
The Kipling Defea I am lusting after is down to £42.00. Is that a good price? Also is there still a discount code floating around anyone can direct me too? x0
