Never even heard of iOffer but I can see what you mean - lots of prints that arn't Kipling - plastic instead of fluffy monkies and the front logo wrong on lots of them. Some have wrong zip pulls too.

They do have one line print done quite good though.

Just received my Fairfax from Amazon. You know on the front pocket with the phone slot? Where that large pocket is sewn onto the main body of the bag, in the vertical bits at each side you can see a little bit of the lining. On my other Fairfax bags all of the lining is tucked out of sight so all you can see is the colour of the bag, but on this one on both sides there is a thin strip of lining colour. It's not a big deal but it just doesn't look right to me. There are also a couple of bits of thread where the stitching has ended, right on the front of the bag so it looks obvious.

I feel like I'm being fussy but somehow it just doesn't look as well made as my previous ones. Do you think this is a good enough reason to ask Amazon to exhange it?

Also noticed the label inside states made in Bangladesh but the one I compared it with said made in China.
  • Sounds like a fake to me, I'd contact amazon to look into it. Did you buy direct from amazon or markerplace?

It's sold by Amazon. That's why I'm puzzled. The Bangladesh thing confused me but as it was bought direct from Amazon I thought it must be ok - but the one I compared it with (made in China) was also from Amazon abut a month ago.

I have some other Kipling bags but they're packed away so I can't check where they were made. I suppose it's possible they have started manufacturing in Bangladesh and the quality isn't as good.
