They were very helpful and quick with me - otherwise I'd have probably HAD to have kept the bag!

Saw a few Kipling bags in TK Maxx today. A shopper bag in the brown Combo, £24.99, a rucksack in Expresso Brown £40 and a large Fairfax in blue (not sure of exact shade) for about £40 as well.

    Rucksack

Glad you found the rucksack to be a good size, I personally was very disappointed with it and sent it back :(. Also didn't like how you need to completely fill the bottom of the bag to pad it out otherwise it lies flat against your back when carrying it which I found to be a very bizarre design. It's the only Kipling so far that I have been disappointed with though and it's now a good excuse to try a few others out for size :)

I'm having this issue at the moment... have emailed them to say I want to post rather than collect+

Wondering why people dont like collect+ . I took a bag Sunday morning to return to amazon. My refund was already in my account by Monday evening. Was surprised, especially as it is the holiday period.

Got my Black Alvar Shoulder bag this morning. Very pleased with it :T

Well I don't like the collect+ as I cannot get out much.

Had two bags today - the silver Alvar is a bit too silver for me but the monkey was a gorgeous colour.

The blue line Combo is very nice and spacious - material on this not thin at all (I think the complaint was about the pink flower fabric) - has huge patent Kilping logo on the front. May be a bit big for everyday use - will have to see if I want to keep this or my orange large Alvar when it comes - cannot afford the two! Looks very stylish with the stripes though - off to check it out again now!!

thanks, i have not tried it on with stuff in as it's for my sister but hopefully will be ok though :D

size wise though you could get a lot in it for days trips. at least it's free return so like you said you can try other kipling bags out which is always fun :p

Is it the same material you would find on a normal kipling bag like the fairfax?

    Was it lined?

Would you be able to carry heavyish stuff? (like 30 school books ;) for marking at home)

Yes the material feels thick like the normal fabric used. It is lined with grey patterned fabric with key fob, zipped back pocket and slip pockets for pens and phone.

Lovely big and capacious so should hold what you wanted. 18 inches across by 14 tall and base is 11 (but up to 15/16 ) x7.

Very tempted its still at £35.99 with the extra 20% code it makes a real bargain, I love the colour/pattern too. Just wondering what I can pretend this one is for, pretty sure I have already had next Xmas' present ;) may just get it delivered to school and let it appear gradually.:D
