Have been following this thread for a while and just purchased my first Kipling - the Reth in Soft Grey from Amazon. When I got it out of the box I thought it looked a bit small but wow they really are tardis bags Once you've opened up the sections and put some stuff in you realise how much room there is!

As a good MSE-er I got it for free using my accumulated Amazon credit from Top Cash Back.

Well Eldorados are ok so long as you realise how small they are - you have to be very disciplined and only have the bare minimum as it is very compact.

Thanks - I do want a smaller bag for when walking, but I think I want a more simple design than Eldorado. Like a big purse with straps.

Yes they're really useful to get a gauge of the sizes - sometimes the pictures can be deceptive.
For that sort of thing the Quaso was good - or the small Alvar - quite compact. That blue one shown above is also a good style.

Can anyone give me advice of anything similar to a Kipling Chilly XS. I recently bought it on Ebay last week and my 7 year old taken a shine to it(she has a fight on her hands) and as it's her birthday in September want to get her a similar size bag. Edited to say it's really diddy - probably 6/7 ins across but ideal for her.
