Thanks for that 7roland8. What an odd design. I would think with it tucked in, it must be quite hard to actually pull it closed, and with it stuck out it must look odd sticking out of the side.
I've just looked more closely at the Amazon pics and on one of those you can actually see the zip. They've been quite clever with the photos on most of them, but you can clearly see it in this pic (actually I think the link goes to a different colour, but if you look at the Brown Snake you can see the zip sticking out).

By the way, that looks a nice colour option you've got. Shame about the design.0 -
Oh yes - I see what you mean with the snake one. Yes when you go to close it it feels odd with the zip tucked in - but looks funny pulled out.
Yes my bag was snake with the pink around the edges - but it had brick on the flap which was a bit of an odd combination.

Apparently they have more Kipling shows on tomorrow. I haven't bothered to check how many yet but I'm guessing still not a TSV or they would have waited and started it off at midnight instead of having 3 shows today.
I'm trying to be strong! I usually get sucked in if there's a TSV or easy pay but I'm doing my best to hold out for Amazon's prices to come down. So far I'm really liking the look of the Reth in Snake Print and it's on easy pay - but it's still double what I'd hope to pay on Amazon.0 -

Yes the Reth is nice but I resent paying almost double for some things - though with easy pay it is tempting sometimes!!Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0 -

Niece's 18th birthday in a couple of weeks.
Are Kipling bags ok for 18 year olds, or shall I stick with the Radley one I had my eye on for her:)

Well, i've been reading this thread for months and months, checking Amazon and Camel x3 (thank you Flo Flo) QVC et al and ive finally stopped dithering and ordered a Reth for what seems to be a cracking price, from the sale on the Kipling site:
http://www.kipling.com/uk-en/vipsale-1/vip-ss12-2/
In gentle Grey (just hoping i like the colour when it arrives!!) £32.50, but through TCB 6.06% cashback and there is a code on there too for 10% off which worked, so £29.25, free delivery and returns, and just over 6% cashback, i am a happy kitty
