So fed up with ebay

I have had my account indefinately restricted for selling, I recently moved and was a little longer sending then usual before and after moving, nothing too bad though as have been on ebay for 8 years so know whats acceptable and whats not! Anyway these DSRS went down although dispatch day I put to 4 days (never took that long but thought it would cover you!! Obv not)
My feedback is 1754 100% and all 'glowing' I didn't sell a lot regularly, just bits now and then.
I have 3 ebay accounts which they have now linked together, a/c 1: is the one they banned a/c 2: selling items but they restricted to 15 items a month a/c 3: banned ~ Why define it like this?!
So frustrated as they are basically treating me like a criminal over it all, I always took pride in my sales, but admit I went a little lapse due to other things ~ but clearly stated I couldn't get to the post office same day or day after sometimes
Arghh this is all disjointed but basically wanting to know if there is anything I can do.. I have messaged them twice now and spoke on chat but each time they tell me there is nothing I can do!!
It doesn't help knowing a lot of people mark all stars low just because they can, I did a poll on my facebook page and group and the majority of people don't take the dsrs seriously and just sit there clicking depending on 'how generous' they are feeling
Do I just admit defeat and that my ebaying days are over....

Firstly, assuming you still have full access to your expanded dashboard run reports, see if you can identify any patterns of lows that you could appeal with eBay.
It is worth appealing anything that looks wrong, of you can get just a couple of 1 or 2 * removed it might bring you back to standard again.
It all really depends though on how bad it is, exactly what does your expanded dashboard show and can you show that you made Any attempt at all to change your style of dispatch once you started to get warnings?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. As I moved 2 months ago I hadn't sold for a while, wish I had tried whilst in the process of sorting things out as could have perhaps tried to turn things around.. sending msgs to people explaining about dsrs etc.. I duno! something to make people see how important they are. So none of it I can appeal ~ that I am aware of.It all really depends though on how bad it is, exactly what does your expanded dashboard show and can you show that you made Any attempt at all to change your style of dispatch once you started to get warnings?
I didn't really sell a lot after getting a few emails, it didn't really seem quite that bad to me, no warnings my account would get taken away just that they would restrict up to 10/15 items a month which they never did, just took my account away.
My last message to them was a plea to let me at least try to sort things out now I can understand properly the dsrs as I didn't really quite think they were that important (naive I know) I used to pride myself on being an ebay expert.. those days are long gone lol! I even trained my sister up on selling and she has a very successful ebay business shop!
Their last response to my last plea included this: I can see from our records that we had previously coached you on August 28, 2012 about the low levels of buyer satisfaction on your account and stated that we needed to see a big improvement. Since then your account has failed to meet the requirements of our Seller Performance standards, we had to take action. (yet looking back through my msgs there is nothing to say anything about it!! PLUS I may have had things flag up when I log in once or twice but had sometimes clicked through without seeing it properly and couldn't go back... )
Again I have been through a bad patch with life and was lapse with getting things out but I really wasn't that bad!Angel

Ouch, I don't think you can come back from that.
The mistake, as I am sure you realise now, was to stop selling. That put your percentage of poor stars up against the overall scores .
We had a big discussion about this on the expanded dashboard thread here:

the bigger mistake was relying on the hubby to send my parcels when I couldn't, he took a carrier bag one day, promised he had sent, then I find them a week later etc.. but yeh I agree about the stopping selling, that was literally the couple of weeks I went without internet (due to moving), I tried to argue that point with the ebay chat person but got nowhere, I said if I had tried to sell within the weeks I moved and pushed it all up then I would have been ok, so why can I not have those weeks back to try and sort it out.
Will have a look through the thread tomorrow.
Do you think I have any chance in getting it back.. or just give up? I was thinking the next step is a phone call, I am not great over the phone but if it would help I would give it a good goAngel

tbh angel, you have no chance with ebay, ive recently had the exact same problem with the stubborn so and so's! they even limited my paypal - its beyond insane the way they treat you as you said, criminals! i had 1600 feedback and 100% when i got restricted but ive admitted defeat now its too much hassle0

It is always worth trying to appeal by phone especially if you stress the move. Those figures though are really very poor and even if ebay decide to remove a couple I still think it would be hard to recover.

its so frustrating as I had always been honest with everything, even when hubster didn't send the items, I said they could have a refund or the item with a bit of money back etc...
even more so when you get sellers with fb like this http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=monique*designs&iid=251182783449&de=off&items=25&which=negative&interval=365&_trkparms=negative_365
Joe_purdy did you try calling them? I might try their facebook group as when I have had a problem before they have done their best to help due to all my friends chipping in.. although not quite sure I want them all knowing my business haha!!
I worry as my sisters have ebay and have often used my laptop to check in when they are here as has my friend, would their accounts be linked to mine due to the ip address?!Angel

Unfortunately yes, anyone that ebay as much as believe could be linked to you may face problems later.
You also state one of your accounts is unaffected, but if you risk using it you will definitely be banned for life with no appeal possible.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Goodness, never thought of that!
Recently I was passing my local library and looked up a telephone number on the internet ... then I thought "whilst I'm here, I wonder if anything else has sold on eBay?"...
I had a quick look, nothing sold, and came out (no, I didn't save the password!). Now I'm thinking, imagine how many people have used that same library computer to log into eBay - it has to be hundreds, including one or two 'with issues'!
I suspect it has to be slightly more scientific than just banning everyone who has ever logged in on the same computer, which a banned user has similarly logged into. Otherwise eBay could probably go on forever, banning every user 'by association'!"The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing.
...If you can fake that, you've got it made."

Ebay will have sent you a warning - but they wait until its more or less to late - as i think they are weirdo's that get a kick out of it.
I din't even know what the seller dashboard was, until i got a warning. Thankfully, mine was p&p (i sent everything recorded) - so was easy to reverse. I just changed to free P&P and that way no buyer could wreck my stars.
Unfortunately - even if you start posting quickly - one moron leaving an unfair star can put you back down and get you banned.
I'm sure if Ebay had the decency to let you know sooner - you could have sorted it. But they allow people to put up to 30 days dispatch - then kick em off for taking more than two. Nuts.
That said - relying on others to send items was not a good idea - i assume you marked them as dispatched? That really peeves buyers off. I once had no internet at home for 4 weeks - but continued selling via an internet cafe (before mobile broadband - which i now use in emergencies). Ebay probably just think they have heard it all before.0
