Your email will be passed around the complaints department for everyone to have a laugh at.
There are ways to offer constructive criticism but you don't seem to have this skill. You'll achieve a lot more with a different attitude.0 -

Agreed, the OP does rather come across as having a superiority complex and the sort of person who would finish the conversation with the customer services worker thinking to himself "I sure showed them", without the slightest inclination that the customer services worker is thinking "what an idiot, I'll be glad if I don't have to hear from them again".
I've been annoyed at times with stuff that has been out of stock at Tesco for months on end, but sending an email insulting employees who are not at fault is unhelpful.0 -

And speaking from many years of experiencing Tesco RDC's, even when you arrive in good time for your delivery slot, it is still not unusual to be kept waiting half a day to be unloaded and delivery documentation processed.
This however is not unique to Tesco - they are all the same. Truly awful places where drivers are kept hanging around most of the day with little or no facilities provided for them and they are basically treat like s**t.0 -

Oh and yes my wife is suffering from the aftereffects of chemotherapy
You're that bothered about Tesco stocking the right water for your wife recovering from cancer but (I presume you, and not her) are smoking? Not sure how you can maintain a righteous attitude...0 -
There is a T under 2 miles from here and they put in those scan and go handsets in earlier this month.
Well, whoever's idea was this has probably never been to that store and noticed the properties around the store. Housing Association flats full of families with 3 kids and chances are their parents don't work. They will take full advantage of it.
Result is they will receive less money as people will 'forget' to scan that pack of beer, fillet steak and expensive items that don't have security devices on them.
Personally, I can see T being the 4th of the Big 4 within 2 years. Morrisons taking over T!!
Erm, I live in a housing association property with 3 children but I wouldn't dream of doing anything that is not legal or is dubious morally.
I even stick rigidly to safe for the conditions speed limits, always wait for the green light at traffic lights, even at stupid o clock in the morning when there is not a soul around!
Oh....I also very rarely drink, you could count my units of alcohol per year on one hand.
I do so hate people sterotyping.....We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

I was in your store this morning between 10.00 and 10.17 hrs.You had no large bottles of San Pelligreno Water, you had no Rizla liquorice papers, and the self service check out "which only takes debit cards" did not work. Not even your pointless male operative could make it work.I therefore waited at the checkout for 10 minutes until I could escape your store to go to The Cooperative and Lidl to finish my shopping. This is the third time in weeks that you have had an "Out of Stock" of items that I regularly buy and I am coming to the rapid conclusion that you are telling me to go and shop elsewhere.
If you paid half as much attention to your supply chain, and the small details in your Chepstow store as you do to constant promotional activity there would be no problem. But you just don't seem to be able to do it.
I am NOT a happy bunny at all.Especially as I have to pay more for small bottles of water because you have no large ,and extra for petrol to go to The Cooperative for cigarette papers.
Oh and yes my wife is suffering from the aftereffects of chemotherapy hence the water she particularly likes. So as you would say "Every little helps".Not with me it doesn't."

I do hope the cigarette papers are not for you - what with your wife having cancer.0 -
My local Tesco had signs up for a while apologising for poor stock levels because of "supply chain issues". At the time I assumed they prioritising deliveries to a new Extra store locally.
Now that Extra store is open, even that has several items missing from it's shelves. I haven't bothered complaining, it's just not worth it with them.0 -

I live in a council house and have 2 children, I work though and never steal from supermarkets. I never have steak or alcohol.
I'm sorry but people like you really get my back up, just because I don't drive an expensive car and have designer clothes does not mean I am a thief! My daughters are my world0 -

Sorry for stereotyping. A friend's neighbour works for this store and there is an issue with theft. What do head office do? Install technology which will increase it! There was a Sainsburys near me that used to have the scan and go handsets but they were removed as they were losing money.
The other larger Sainsburys still has it. They do stop checks and check what you have in your bags/boxes matches the receipt. I have been checked on a random basis and I scanned and paid for everything in my bags.0 -
We do have supply issues as well. Mainly with our own brand products. Normally is when they are changing supplier or a part in the supply chain or when they changing the packaging. The other day, a customer wanted to know if we had any Sainsburys 'normal' tinned kidney beans. There were none in the back. i showed the customer that the range of tinned pulses in the middle of a label change as some had the new label, and the rest had the old labels. I showed her the Basics kidney beans and explain they are the same as the normal ones as I use them myself about twice a month. As part of our customer service, we have to give within reason, an alternative if item is not in stock. She gave me the look of horror and she was probably thinking 'How dare you suggest I purchase Basics kidney beans'0
