    Hi,
Lovely morning here after a windy night.
Had non-stop visitors this morning so nothing much done.
Jacket Potatoes with cheese, ham, HM coleslaw and salad for lunch, and now the Rev has come in and is yelling up the stairs. Try to get back here later. Grrrr!

    Afternoon,

OH dropped me in town and went to M & S. Got a pair of "ugg style" slippers that were recommended to me by a friend. She is right, they are so soft and warm, made my numb feet much better:T
Also picked up two of their £10 roast deals and Xmas pud and cake a third off, Christmas tea, coffee and other bits buy 3 get one free. Came to £83, but with the discounts it cost £65! I used the vouchers I got from Sky and the Daily mail, so it cost me the sum of £1.81, and I've still got £80 left RESULT!!! :T

DD has taken DGD to Eastbourne on the train. First time on a train and she loved it. Sign of the times though, she's been on an airplane, but never a train:rotfl:

Essexgirl I am so pleased you feel less stressed. I was the same when I was medically retired. It felt like a weight had been lifted. OH is doing the same with one of his manufacturers. They keep mucking up his orders, so he's moved them elsewhere, and is much better off.

Hope you are all having a good day.

Get to the doctor if things are not better by tonight. You do not want a severe infection or kidney trouble if it is not treated.

Just made a huge pot of veg soup for lunch and thought we would have some left for tonight but looks as if dh is polishing off the lot.

DD's holiday washing is done and hanging on the line to dry. Chicken pieces are marinating in the fridge with some sweet potato cakes for tonight.

DH is absolutely hooked on a couple of family history sites he has found and is amazed that people in America and Australia can tell him more about some family members than he can after doing this for years.

Enjoy spoiling Shelley and hope she gets better soon.

If you are still getting that pain maybe you should consider getting it checked out.

    Hugs to all

Thing is, I saw the Rheumy on 13th Nov; she said there was nothing untoward in the blood tests, and that she was signing me off back to the GP, with a recommendation that the GP refer me to the pain clinic.

So I don't really know where to go from here.:( I assume I just have to wait to be summoned to the pain clinic *confused smilie*

Bitsy,Leo had a spell of being sick more or less as soon as he'd finished eating, not every meal tho.I put it down to him gulping his food down so quick as he wasnt lethargic or anything. He is very greedy :D

RIP Pippin, sad but boy that's a great age xxx

In other dog news poor Luna is going on a semi starvation diet
Vet felt round, couldn't feel anything untoward in her guts etc. it might be an irritation so she's got to be starved until tomorrow night and then is allowed tiny tiny tiny rice and chicken meals. Depending on whether she brings it back up the amounts will be very gradually increased. Vet said basically that by this time next week we might be thinking about introducing her normal food. She's gonna be one hungry pup :eek:

Have a good Friday night everyone :)
