Vodafone still down after 2 weeks

Vodafone apparently had a problem recently in part of the RH postcode area including RH13 and RH14 which has only been partly fixed.

I still have no service at all after over two weeks.

Neither Vodafone Support's online "Call Back" or "Email Us" services seem to be working.

I hope the Vodafone representative will read this comment from a not very happy Vodafone shareholder.

It's not your problem - it's theirs. I was in the RH5 area on Thursday and my phone worked perfectly well.

I don't know what's going on. Vodafone seem to be losing control of their systems in some areas, which isn't a great advertisement.

    Hi Barak & kkpolobear,

Apologies for the delay with getting to this thread.

Having checked our eForum I can confirm that an issue in the RH14 area was raised last month and we provided an update a few days ago to confirm that site 4188 had been fixed and normal service should now be resumed.

In the event that you're still experiencing difficulties could you follow the information in the network troubleshooting thread which can be found in the network section of the eForum?

    Thanks,

    Lee

Vodafone/o2 are reshaping their networks together, it might be a Voda problem but if o2 are running that area Voda would never know, Voda dont allow thier third party customer care to lodge faults they told me ?? So a million people can complain but until a DIRECT Voda employee sees the fault and reports it your screwed.

    Lee - It's a pity that Vodafone won't admit what's going on.

Base station 4188 in Billingshurst RH14 is not providing normal service. Nor, by the way, is base station 36722 in Pagham PO21.

It seems strange that I can work this out but Vodafone apparently can't.

As diamonds has helpfully posted, there is some sort of upgrading going on. Vodafone would do better to explain it and make sure that its implementation doesn't completely remove their service from certain customers, some of whom rely solely on their mobile phone for communication in an emergency.

    Hi barak and kkpolobear,

As promised, I'm just coming back to with an update.

In regard to RH14 we've checked the site in question and it appears to be working as it should.

However, as you're both still experiencing difficulties could you email me
with your details via the link in our profile here?

All you need to do is copy and paste the link into your web browser and it will take you to the Contact us form on our website.

To ensure that it reaches us could you also quote the code WRT135 - MSE in the subject line and once our automated reply arrives update the thread with your email reference number and I'll get back to you as soon as possible?

In regard to PO21 and PO20 we have checked the sites in this area too and again all of them are handling traffic as normal.

As such, could you post in the PO21 thread on the eForum to enable us to investigate this further? Unfortunately, I can't provide a link to it as per the MSE guidelines we're obliged to follow.

    Kind regards,

    Lee

And there you seen the problem with Vodafone customer care & Voda reps on here(and other places)...all third party who have to "repost" your difficulties on the only official direct customer care - Voda forums. Smacks of hypocrisy....
