Hi Steph,
Try not to let you mortgage payment being late this month get to you, as you are now taking actions to make sure it doesn't happen again, so try and think of this as the last time that this will happen, because as you said this has spurred you on to make sure you get things sorted so you are taking charge

Thanks Fae, Yes I have looked at every which way to be able to make this months payment on time but we are short by at least £200. Typical my Childrens Tax Credit goes in a couple of days after but it will have bounced by then.
I am resigned to it now, and have rejuggled by spreadsheet. This is Definately the last month this will EVER happen
Hope you have a lovely Sunday

Hi Lois,
Wow you were up late or early, not sure which.
Yes we had lots of fun splashing in muddy puddles, it nearly ended up expensive, we walked passed our village hall and they had a Christmas Fayre in there with lots of goodies , thankfully I did'nt take any money out with me so managed to walk on by....Phew.
Yes our home is a Money Pit!!!. We have a half finished extention that we started this year. We have another extention we are meant to be building next year and millions of jobs that need to be done on the land.
We are just going to have to take our time and do it as and when we can afford it. We have calculated that it is about another £400 to put the roof on the extention, thankfully hubby is a builder so no labour costs, but its still alot of money. Hopefully in the new year I might be able to scrape the money together. Its hard though when I am trying to pay off debts.
Nevermind we will get there somehow.:o0 -
Hi all
Just checking in as don't think I will be around much today.
DS (8) has a TaeKwonDo Competition at our nearest town, so am off in a minute to pack sandwiches etc and my Ds & DD and I will be stuck there all day.
Hoping to get home at 2-3ish but have no clue.
Should 'nt be too bad on the pocket though. It is £2 each for Spectators and otherwise it will be a free day. So hoping £4 will be my maximum spend today. Will report back later.
Hope you all have a lovely Sunday

We're back eventually. Thankfully this morning only cost me £2. DD got in for free as she was 5. Resisted the tea room selling coffee and cakes. And my wonderful DS won Bronze in Sparring. :j:T. Its his first competition so really proud of him.
Home now eating leftover pasta from last night and a Strong coffee. Took alot of willpower to resist the coffee and cakes as we were sat there for 3 hours. :T
Hope to relax abit for the rest of the day, except making some more cakes for next weeks packed lunch.
On the subject of packed lunches I think I won't pay for anymore hot meals for the kids. They cost £27.36 every two weeks which is just too expensive for us. Unfortunately I think we earn just abit too much to qualify for free meals
Have a great day everyone xx0 -
Well done to you son on his sparring competition you must be so proud.
I too have decided to stop the school meals for my youngest and he's going to take packed lunches to school.0
