These things happen so your "breach of supplying a false product" is utter nonsense.0 -

Second phone received today with yet another opened seal.
This time the handset itself had no screen protectors and was inside a loose plastic bag. I called three to again explain the situation and they claim the handsets are sent directly from Samsung. I find this hard to believe considering there are "3 mobile" stickers on the box, receipts and shipping information !
Apparently they have noted the situation as 'escalated' on their system, are looking into it and I should definitely receive an unopened handset tomorrow.
Last chance for three, if I didn't have a good deal I would have cancelled today. A third broken seal will force me to cancel and look elsewhere. This has turned into a joke.
Good for you for sticking with your original contract, don't hold your breath though.
Further fuel for your fire: when I accepted a mobile handset from them (refurb despite not stating it was- even when starting up the handset I was told by the handset it was a refurb model but by then apparently too late to return- lies I know but that's 3 for you....)
It took me about 12 months of constant complaints for them to actually take my issues seriously, on repair I was told everything was fine. It got to the point where I'd have the handet sent back, I'd take it to the nearest 3 store for them to unwrap and test...only for the rather obvious fault to reappear.
Even when they took it back a 3rd time they told me it had been swapped over- it had not (my details were still on the handset including pictures of the family cat) the manager had taken up the past claim on my behalf, did so again and it was only after the 4th handset replacement I got a new (refurbished) handset but was told it was my battery that was the issue and I'd need to buy myself another one! By then I just gave up.
I've not had a mobile since, those 24 months I wasn't able to use my mobile properly and I just got used to going without despite paying for it throughout because I didn't understand my rights and I their customer service was so poor I was put off contacting them before I'd even begun bracing myself. It would take a pretty amazing deal and decent handset for me to go back to owning a mobile. Once bitten, twice shy. Don't let it happen to you!0 -
Mine had a broken seal but the stickers front and back had not been tampered with and everything else was sealed. It would be very difficult to use the phone with the stickers in place and you would be able to tell if they had been removed.0

I haven't had a chance to post an update but this situation with 3 has been a nightmare.
I am now on my FOURTH handset from 3 mobile and the customer service along the way has been disgraceful. I have been given misleading information and pretty much lied to along the way.
Handset 1
Opened seal. Explained in earlier post.
Handset 2
Opened seal. Was told these are sent directly from Samsung and this was a mistake. LIE ?
Handset 3
Opened seal. Was told the manufacturers seal had to be opened to install software and as long as the 3 sticker was intact the phone is new. LIE ? Accepted the handset based on this info but this phone broke after 3 days ! with a large pink spot on the display. Phoned for return.
Handset 4
Finally received a handset with an unopened seal. Three software installed and looking brand spanking new. Everything in the box sealed. No loose batteries, fingerprints, folded instruction manuals, everything looks the way it should.
I'll be phoning 3 to make a complaint about the service I have received as I'm convinced I have been sent returned handsets on three occasions. After seeing a new and sealed Samsung box I am convinced of this.
Sorry for the long postbut I had to vent a little. Anyone expecting a new Galaxy S3 should take note and be weary of the package you are sent. (Have to say though, the couriers at DPD are brilliant:))
