EXPIRED code stack at BHS on xmas giftshop range - cheapish hampers etc

I ordered yesterday lunchtime, (festive hamper), just had email cancellation:



'We're sorry, but due to its popularity the item you ordered is now out of stock.

Unfortunately this means that we've had to cancel your order which of course you haven't been charged for.

Once again please accept our apologies for any inconvienence caused.

Just logged into my account, the hamper is showing in stock and i was able to add it to my basket. I didnt try the code though so unsure whether they would still work.

My entire order has been cancelled. I'm fuming. It doesn't even say which item is out of stock. I've checked and EVERY item on my order is showing as being in stock on the website.

Ordered 5 hampers, 2 festive, 2 sweet, one savoury. Not getting any, was maybe too greedy! LOL ordered 09.00. Not too fed up, going for the hamper deal with Neil instead, happy with what I've had from Norfolk hamper company so far.

Did another order on Wednesday night for a few different gifts, this is still being packed, so may get that!

But I just wanted to ask a question re: above. Is the Norfolk hamper offer better or worse when compared to the BHS deal?

I managed to get 24 hampers for just over £100; works out a little bit over £4 per hamper delivered!

Were the BHS hampers mahoosive? Or have I missed something? :rotfl::o

No, the Norfolk ones are much better value and work out cheaper per hamper. I just meant that the overall cost of the gift (I think I am going to give each 12 month hamper package as one gift), is approx £50, compared to the £20ish for one BHS hamper.

I ordered a savoury hamper. It was delivered this morning & I am really pleased. Seems good quality & the hamper itself is nice. Would never have been worth the £70, though.

The more I thought about it was annoyed too, so have written to them saying that I think they're not very customer care orientated, blatantly lying that the hampers out of stock when it clearly isn't. They should have been a bit more upfront
about their mistake:) I know it's all down to chance and fair enough but it's telling porkies that I think is very unprofessional:mad:

Don't expect a reply though and can spend my cash elsewhere:)

Jeppy, my later order is also showing this:( but have no doubt they're working through them with cancellation emails The order number cancelled is 149616 so anything after that looks like a no go I'm afraid. Before this you may be lucky:)
