  • Who says, 'Once bitten twice shy?' I have purchased from World of Vouchers on three occasions. Not without long delays and a lack of communication for WOV. I decided to have one last try. Order a Christmas present for my wife at the start of December (2nd) and after waiting two weeks I contacted them to seek an estimated date of delivery. They claimed that they had not received my order...'Did you follow the instructions?' Yes I did!! 'Sorry our IT specialists are checking and repairing the problem you order will be sent out as soon as we find it in the system!! Mmmm! Then, 'Your order is currently out of stock and will be sent out the week of the 17th December.' Uh! Uh!!
Complaint filed through Paypal awaiting WOV's reply. If you are thinking of ordering through WOV ...don't!!

Thanks for the efforts Pulliptears. I've dropped WOV another email - doubt it'll do any good mind.

After starting a Paypal claim - I get an email from Paypal telling me that I must return the goods to Luxury Goods to get a refund. Considering I have already returned the goods (in November 2012) and since WOV refuse to admit they got the goods back where do I go now ? I sent 11 items out on the same day as I returned the lamp to WOV - all the other 10 got delivered. WOV = rip off company !:(:(:(

Note added today 19/01/2013 that Paypal have refused my claim. World of Vouchers/LuxuryOffersDirect or whatever they are called today - just have to deny getting the goods back - and they will never do a refund. I suppose I'll have to forget the 12.95 and put it down to experience. My Faith in human nature has disappeared. I'm now looking for a website where I can really vent my anger at World of Vouchers/LuxuryOffersDirect ! I think a firebomb through their door would be a good idea ! What a bunch of crooks !

Hi all, on 12th December 2012, I replied to an email from WOV, advertising a Miracle Vanish Pen, buy one get one free. I immediately replied to this email, requesting the above. I paid rightaway with Paypal who sent me a receipt for £14:99. I contacted WOV when I received nothing, The phone number was 10p/minute. The operator gave me an email address for WOV which turned out to be non-existant. I called again and was given a ficticious email address. I finally was given a genuine email address for customer services and was asked to send my Paypal receipt, which I did, and have still received nothing. I am fortunate that the product was only £14:99, which I am now writing off. Do not deal with this company!

    Hi All,
Thought I'd add my comments on my dealings with this company.
I've bought two items from them. The first was a Cordless Headphone set which have proved to be useless and the cable has broken after only a few uses! The second is a thing called an 'Anywhere Lamp'. I managed to work out the voucher system and then when the lamp arrived it was broken. I followed the proceedure for returns and called them on the expensive 0871 number - got a returns number and sent the goods back for a refund. Amazingly, according to them they never got the item and have refused to give me a refund. They tell me to make a claim against Royal Mail. Tell me, how do they know I sent the parcel via Royal Mail if they didn't receive it? I could have sent it via Parcels to Go, which I use for various things. I think it's a ploy to avoid giving me a refund. I paid via Paypal and have started a claim through their system.
One comment I would make about the quality of the item from WoV is that the goods are of a very cheap - almost 'Poundshop' quality and the claims of being worth 'xxx' pounds really are an exaggeration. If I can't get my money back - I suppose I'll have to put it down to another Rip Off company experience.:(:(
Found that the company also appears to trade as 'Jean-Patrique Cookware Co Ltd' - well that's what comes up from the 0871 phone number I have. 08717048888 has an alternative of 01795 412034

I purchased a Men's Stauer Chrome Monaco watch from WOV on 25 November 2012 and as my lack of knowldege I contacted via email and followed their delay tecnics system and redeemed the voucher on 04 Dec 2012 and paid 6.99 punds for P&P as well. After several days I checked the status on Luxury Direct offers and on status field it was whowing 'processing' then I contacted customer service for enquiry and they replied I will be receiving the item within 10 working days but I never received the item untill 07 Jan 2013. When I asked to them what is wrong going on then they said I had to pay extra 10 pounds as my address is a BFPO address; wherease nothing cost more than normal cost to post within the UK to post the BFPO address too. Then I requested them that I don't want the item any more and wanted to refund my money but no response has been received at all till now. I paid via paypal and when I asked the paypal to claim my money they dont claim over 45 days. So the money 129.99 pounds + 6.99 pounds all together 136.98 pounds is looking for to be refunded but no response from WOV.
Is there any idea to get my money back??? Please someone help.

Interestingly, I have now received my outstanding items. They're not the colour I ordered, but I don't think I'll push it any further. I will say that the items seem like good value now I finally have them, but for the fuss it took, I don't think I'd order from them again.
  • I had placed an order and it is more than 2 months eigher I received the item or refund the money. Looking for get my money back but they never respond.

Does anyone have any idea to get my money back from them???
