    Good Evening, :)

Sorry I have been absent for the last two weeks. I have been far to busy with work and other stuff getting in the way. :(

Hope you are all well and that everyone who has had a birthday or anniversary in the last two weeks had a great one. I should hopefully be able to start reading and keeping up after Christmas.

Just seen someone else got some elizabeth shaw crisps or something, is there a list of what triggers anywhere or not?

Mine doesn't do the fingers, though I haven't been back again to see if that has changed. Please let me know if yours does and I might pop my head back in! Keep trying to find ASDA stores as I travel for work!

Does anybody know when the petrol voucher thing will be up and running again in Tesco? someone at work told me about it happening again any minute. I did manage to get some for me and my mum the last time around.

I think if it is going to happen again it will be the 5p off a litre when spending £50. The 50p off a litre tends to crop up around the time of the clubcard statement send out. :)

I had heard of shingles but thought it was much like chicken pox, itchy rash and feeling under the weather but it is really painful. I honestly thought I had torn muscles in my side. It wasn't until the cluster of lumps appeared that I realised it was a doctor job!! x

I had Shingles on my face last year. the rash was above my eye and followed a nerve round my face. Went to the walk-in-centre thinking this was what I had, to be told by doctor in very poor English he had no idea what it was.
I suggested Shingles but he said he had never seen a Shingles rash that looked like it.
Next day rash and pain was worse so asked in pharmacy, pharmacist took oner look and said it was definitely Shingles and was dangerous because of being round my eye and I needed and immediate appointment at GP's for anti-virals and also hospital eye clinic. She rang my Gp's and insisted they saw me straight away. Have some scarring from the rash but otherwise OK except when very tired when the nerve seems to flare up.

Shingles pain can last for years and as far as I am aware Shingles can't be caught off anyone with Shingles, they can only catch the Chicken Pox Virus from you if they haven't previously had it. Once you have had Chicken Pox the virus stays dormant and tends to come out as Shingles when you are very run down. But saying that it's funny that both my Mum and friend had Shingles in the few months before me.
