DIL has been up and down to the hospital since Sunday night. Her water broke but she hasn't had any contractions. I went up with them last night when they went for another check-up and got to listen to the heartbeat but she was sent home again. She was supposed to have been induced this morning but she's just been put onto a hormone drip this evening and with only mild pain.

So hopefully my grandson will make an appearance tonight sometime :j

Fingers and toes crossed for you and you DIL xxxx
  • Talking about heating, we have warm air heating and love it! The warm air is blown out of vents in a central column, so not all rooms heated, but it warms up so quickly and you don't have to bleed radiators! And we have good insulation in the attic and cavity wall insulation. We have the heating on 06:30 - 08:30 and 17:00 to 19:30, more than enough, don't know what temperature though as the dial only has numbers 1-9 on it!!
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

Er, used to be OK at it... what's your question?

BTW evening all... back from my cheapo cruise to Brazil ;)

Hope you had a fab cruise, cheapo or not, what a lovely place to be this time of year!

My question is about calculating the magnitude of a car moving in a straight line at a constant speed....basically i dont know how to do it and I am pulling my hair out

I am just looking for some guidance on how to work it out, my tutor isnt answering her phone, despite telling me to ring her :mad:

If you could help I would be forever grateful, but if not, its not a problem, the assignment will just have to go in with it unanswered

I got one for £3.94 and it took about 7 days for it to show - and there's about 8 different codes that make up the £3.94.

We've just had a huge flash of lightening, an almighty rumble of thunder and now it's chucking down with hailstones.
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.
