Oh gosh! Now you've got me thinking! My first flat was very similar! No heaters except an electric fire in the living room that I never used as the cable had a splitter in it an I thought it would explode  I used to lie there under the duvet and my coat on. I'd put a hot water bottle in the bed about an hour before getting in it and had a tiny skirting heater that did pants all! Our heating is set at 19 at the moment. That feels like a sauna!

The strange thing was, is that you put up with it because it was your own little place, especially if it was your first, nothing mattered, you had your independence and as long as you had your beans on toast watching tv who cares if you wore a hat indoors? :rotfl:

I got one for £3.94 and it took about 7 days for it to show - and there's about 8 different codes that make up the £3.94.

Hi Tweets any news on baby ? :)

Excellent, think im ready for my first shop now. Wonder if the small store near me does the fingers and tree lol

Mine doesn't do the fingers, though I haven't been back again to see if that has changed. Please let me know if yours does and I might pop my head back in! Keep trying to find ASDA stores as I travel for work!

Hi Tweets any news on baby ? :)

DIL has been up and down to the hospital since Sunday night. Her water broke but she hasn't had any contractions. I went up with them last night when they went for another check-up and got to listen to the heartbeat but she was sent home again. She was supposed to have been induced this morning but she's just been put onto a hormone drip this evening and with only mild pain.

So hopefully my grandson will make an appearance tonight sometime :j
