    Hi Locarr.
    It's nice baking with young kids, isn't it, they absolutely love the whole experience. We had the Mary Berry cake last year and it was delicious.. :D:D

    fingers or vinnies sounds fine - just don't do what I did.. new neighbours invited me to a garden party and I took a bottle of wine & four pack. They said thanks v. politely and popped them under the table before offering me a glass of non-alcoholic punch - oops!
    this made me :rotfl::rotfl:
  • Have to go now - OH has "made" dinner. I made some ciabatta rolls earlier (bread machine!), so he has made garlic butter and re-heated the rolls, then done some soup from a packet. Can't wait to get a soup maker (no - I CAN't make soup in a saucepan, always ruin it somehow or it boils over etc etc)!

    And did you have a party line on your phone? :rotfl::rotfl:

    We could listen to the other peoples conversations and they could listen to ours....:eek:

    We were too poor to have a phone. :( We had a tv with only BBC1 on it though and a big wireless. Nobody had central heating just one coal fire for the whole house. We used to have frost on the inside of our windows and get dressed to go to bed, including hat, socks and jumpers. I think Dickens must have based many of his novels on our family!

    Can someone check this for me

    £8.99 x 4 = £35.96 (£24)
    £6.99 ( meal deal wine)x 2 = £13.98 + £35.96 = £49.94 / 4 = £12.49 wine discount

    2 x £10 meal deal = £20 + £24 wine = £44 - £12.49 = £31.51 - £8 finest mocs = £23.51

    Just a note of caution T0p V@lley Tosco would only take one of the £2 finest coupons against a dozen bottles of wine last night. I was gutted!
  • Gosh if this works COT it is a corker.

    I assume looking at calculations that;

    A. That the meal deal wine is a finest wine too so that 4 coupons will be accepted (because 40+ initial wine spend)

    B. That it will give the 25% discount on the meal deal wine as part of the 6 bottles purchased

    I would love to try it but don't drink alc- still have the house full of albali. Has to be tried!!!

    I cannot see a flaw.

    The meal deal wine is a finest wine
    2 coupons for meal deals and 2 for wine @£24
