Before this thread degenerates into a pit of doo doos yet again, can I suggest that we all (or nearly all!) try to grit our teeth/bite lips etc (I guess suggesting we grin and bear it would be asking a bit too much).

I agree, just all move on and ignore what you don't like;)In fact I think its time to

I've also got left over car mocs including a few lenors so thanks for the reminder, didn't realise about the early dates :D

I could lump these in with a wine shop tommorow as it won't be a TPP shop.

Are there any other good things to get with car vouchers?

Dates are still good till the end of Dec (For the Car coupon) but the £2 deal ends on the 4th and if you put it with a mag coupons its free (If you want an easy shop;)) I just do a bottle everytime I go in so don't have to worry about getting it on a PP, but it has become a "slight" addiction;)

Yes, you are right about the Ts and Cs (1 per transaction and only 3000ish free), however, although breaking the rules, if enough of us can do it, it means that the homeless in the uk can have a much better christmas this year.
I know that a lot of people will do this for themselves only, but hopefully enough will not and some unfortunate people might benefit.:D:D

You're kidding yourself if you think even 1% of those on this thread donate to foodbanks etc...most are out to fill their garage/attic with as much as they can and couldn't give two hoot for anyone else...any surplus ends up on ebay or boot sales and they are happy to boast about it...

Nice thought SFSB but I doubt that any foodbank would accept chilled food.
    Certainly our one doesn't.
I sent an email to the director of my local Open House and he replied saying he was over the moon and would gladly accept the meals. I did mention h&s concerns in my email to him but he was fine with it. Dunno, perhaps health and safety is important in our everyday lives, maybe homeless hostels can't afford to be so picky??
